I had never been to Wasahi until this afternoon. I went for lunch and sat at the Sushi Bar. I ordered a special on the board, a tempura roll, and a spicy tuna roll. I also had miso soup. Everything gets a 5 out of 5. It was delicious and they accomdated my onion allergy without a problem. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the price was very reasonable. There are few restaurants that I can visit without feeling my onion allergy effects my companions. Not here, it was very easy to deal with. I will be back frequently. They definitely were not busy enough for lunchtime, so come visit them so we can keep them here. Yummo!
Great Sushi and Grill. I love this place. I go there at least once a month if not more. It is the only place I choose to go for Sushi and Asian Grill. They have great value for the price. The people are friendly and prompt, but the decor is outdated. I have never had any complaints on the quality of the service and food.
Superb Sushi. OMG! I am very new to sushi and I cannot express how wonderful the products are at Wasahi! I have only had the Cali roll and Shrimp tempura roll so far but I am willing to even try the raw ones. Tell all of your friends this is a great place north of the river for sushi!
Wasahi. Good food. I've had the sushi & the grill - I recommend both. My husband & I used to eat sushi there, but found other places closer to home that was less.

Great Family Run Restaurant. We LOVE this sushi bar! We've been going for years, and decided to order from home. Not knowing the phone numer we typed the name in and found it on this site and are such big fans of Wasahi we joined Urbanspoon just to compliment the restaurant. Really friendly service, they remember their customers and offer great suggestions. If you're looking for non-chain sushi bar with a neighborhood friendly feel, this will be the last sushi bar you ever need to try.
Love the sushi. Fresh fish, great rolls, good service, friendly staff. Don't go for the decor.
Still the best. I have been trying other sushi restaurants since Wasahi is about a 35 minute drive from where I'm living now, but there is nowhere else in the area that compares. Wasahi has by far the best sushi in the area. If you haven't checked it out - you should.
Outstanding. My wife and I have been here perhaps 10 times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. There is nothing extravagant about Wasahi but it is definitely a very nice place. You will always be greeted with a huge hello when you walk in the door and the sushi is fantastic. In an area of N. Oak that appears to be struggling, this place is a jewel!
