Every time I'm in KC, I always do the early morning slice run...great pizza, every time. Everyone who is hung up on their expectation of customer service need to get outta the Midwest for a bit. If you want great pizza at unusual hours, go here. If you want your ego stroked and catered to go to the Cheesecake Factory. For all the complainers: if I went to your work at 3am, I highly doubt you'd be a gem. Love ya Santoras, keep doing what you do!!
I work nights in downtown and order from them regularly, the food is always hot and awesome. I have ordered pizza(clearly lol), pasta(even better), fries, and mozzarella sticks(awesome) from them. I have zero complaints from the dozen or so times I have ordered over the last year and a half.
Absolutely love the pizza!! It's the best I've ever had. The checkout girls always seem depressed but maybe because it's so hot in there! But the food definitely overshadows them. Strongly recommend!
Best pizza in midtown, no contest. Late night weekend hours are clutch in a part of town without a ton of late night options. I hope it's around forever. I don't like people who don't like Santoras.
I tried a slice of cheese and a slice Mamma Mia. I wanted to compare it to the cheese and Special at D'Bronx, which I'm a big fan of and eat at nearly weekly. Neither of them matched D'Bronx, though I did enjoy the extra buttery-garlic crust. The cheese at Santora's had much more cheese than d'Bronx. The Mamma Mia had no pepperoni this time (they were out) and I think they compensated by adding more hamburger, which overpowered any spice of the Italian sausage. If I order this again, I'll say no hamburger, just Italian sausage, as the hamburger doesn't fit the rest of the toppings.
Under a new owner and name. All cleaned up and the Gyro was so good. They offer chicken shawarma wraps wings and fries and pizza too.
No doubt, Santoras has the best pizza in KC. Great happy hour deals on pizza. Keep your customer service expectations low.
