Gary Jack

The chef is the daughter of a NOLA chef. The Crawfish Bisque was amazing and reminiscent of fine dining in New Orleans. The gumbo was spot-on. The fish, shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, and fries on the combo plate were delicious.

Being a native from New Orleans, you can tell when you get the real thing. The shrimp, and the oysters are to die for! Excellent fries as well. Nice to have a place around the corner that reminds me of home :)

The Shrimp PoBoy is amazing. I keep going back expecting to get one that's not up to snuff, but every time, it's amazing. The shrimp is perfectly fried. Perfect. The bread is perfect. The amount of lettuce and tomato and mayo is perfect. The fried catfish is also really good. They know how to fry things. You have to wait a little bit for the food to come out, so it's not a quick bite, but it's a perfect bite. I've also had the gumbo, bisque, red beans and rice, garlic bread, and probably a couple other things over the years, and they're all good. Some days they're better than others, but that shrimp poboy... it's just perfect.
