Great food, not great service.. This is my new favorite place to eat in Katy. We ordered a pound of crawfish, taters and corn, and the catfish. The crawfish had a great flavor and was just the right amount of spicy and the taters and corn complemented it perfectly. The catfish is some of the best I've ever had as well; plus you can even buy their cornmeal mix if you want to make it at home.

Service is not the best - while they have a HUGE amount of seating, they don't staff enough to serve that many people and the kitchen also cannot keep up with it. Management prefers to let folks have a seat rather than wait for a table, which I'm not sure I agree with. I think if we had at least been spoken to and been told that was the case we would have been fine waiting.

The owner is very nice and makes you feel like you're family over for a cookout. The atmosphere is very party like, while still being family oriented. Its definitely the place to take friends from out of town, and I can't wait to go back despite the delay.
