I have attended many community functions catered by the Golden Steer. They have always done a fabulous job. I used them for my wife's retirement party at the house. The food was to die for, the staff was couteous and professional and they cleaned up well. Best caterers in Kent, hands down. Thanks Jim.
Excellent service and food. Extremely impressed with vegan menu Suzanne is building for the restaurant. Our oldest daughter is vegan and they had quite a variety for her to choose from for the brunch. Not just oatmeal. Of course the rest of the food was great and overall service fantastic.

We make it a point to visit at least once a week. The menu has been upgraded, and the entrees are all good. And the staff, especially Nikki, are all great. Courteous and attentive. One of the best restaurants in the Kent area. Everything was great. I highly recommended this place.
I definitely wouldn't choose this restaurant for the ambience. Not a modern place and the restrooms did not feel especially clean. BUT, the food good, the servings were a good value, and the service was great. I had the reuben with sour cream, it was fantastic. My husband had a bbq burger and we had two types of desserts at our table, everything was delicious. Recommended.
I really enjoyed my dine in... the milieu of the restaurant was awesome. I had my breakfast... 3 egg omelette (American)... was delicious and perfectly presented.. the staff was friendly and well mannered in taking orders... the new management is awesome with new deals... in short lovely...
We went for our wedding anniversary... The food was delicious.. the bar is fully fuelled up... fish chips and chicken fried steak was great.... the fully is cooked as per our instructions... loved it and happy to celebrate my anniversary at this place..
The food was very good. The room that was reserved for the Welcome party was nice & set up just perfect. The wait staff was very helpful & accommodating. The gathering was for KAT Cities Young Ambassadors.
We hadn't ordered from Golden Steer since management change until tonight. We weren't disappointed with our pick up. Excellent customer service and the food was five star. We will be back and we hope the best for your business!
Relatives live up this way, and we go here occasionally. Good bar, good food, good service. Old west type decor which is kinda cool. Prices have risen due to costs, but still affordable. Don't expect 13 Coins type food, but the salad bar (oops, gone now with Covid) is plentiful, the breakfasts are decent portions, lunch's & dinners are good food like Gramma made..well, mine anyway. She was a decent cook.
Not your chain-type food, which is refreshing. 👍
I was so impressed today! I called in an order for pick up and they went above and beyond to fill our order! I was so happy to get a delicious french dip & sweet potato fries and they actually went to the store for the French dip rolls just to give me exactly what I wanted! They could have just asked me to order something different, they were very busy today & had run out of the rolls but they sent my husband home with exactly what we ordered all hot fresh and delish!!!
Every special request was honored!
