They deliver. I can't think of a single negative about Franklin Square Deli. Try them before the other sandwich shops downtown. You won't be sorry or disappointed. Just had The Philadelphian sandwich. Corned beef, capicola ham, slaw, and melted muenster cheese on sourdough. Loved it and definitely one of the better deli sandwiches I've eaten. Will return on my next trip to Kent.
Great Subs. I don't care how many other sub shops try to muscle-in to Kent territory, Franklin Square Deli is the best. They might be a little more expensive than those "other" places, but it's worth it. I've been going to FSD for about 12 years now and I have never had a bad sandwich, and usually the staff is pretty friendly, too. When a friend of mine from out-of-town comes back to Kent, the first thing they want is a sub from FSD or a burrito from Taco Tontos.
My friend told me about the Franklin Square Deli one day and I decided to go out and give them a try and I'm so happy I did. The staff was very friendly and helpful for my first time. They were very superb when it came to making my sandwich. Not only was it delicious but they got it to me pretty fast especially during a busy time of the day. If you're in the downtown Kent area I highly recommend that you go give them a shot. They really are the best Sandwich joint at Kent.

After living in Southwest Virginia for 15 years where nobody has a clue how to make an Italian sub it sure is nice to find this place. Staff was kind and welcoming too. I’m going to look forward to returning.
An overlooked local culinary gem. The food here is far superior the very overrated neighboring eateries, which mostly serve disgustingly greasy “bar food”. This place has fresh, quality deli subs. If you’re in Kent for a concert or whatever, skip the subpar & overrated bar food at & treat yourself to a really great quality sub at Franklin Square Deli, I only wish they were open later.
The food here was great. The service was also excellent... The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of their menu and eager to please...It was nice to sit down and dine in the restaurant...The atmosphere was nice and quiet and made for an enjoyable lunch. Its definitely worth stopping by to grab a bite to eat if you are in the area...
Great speedy service with a smile. Excellent historic building and location in downtown Kent. It was my first time here but I will happily be back again!
