My family and I are from Illinois, visiting my best friend stationed in Norfolk. We visited OBX with them 2 years ago but didn’t get the chance to eat them. This year they told us nothing but great things about Spanky’s so after a morning at the beach, we were eager to try this place. I got a burger, my fiancé got popcorn shrimp, and my son had chicken tenders. Our food was out to us faster than I can remember. Now usually when you get food this fast, you are somewhere near a golden arch getting crap quality. This was not the case at Spanky’s. We devoured our food and wished we were stuffed and could order more. The service was superb. The quality of food was outstanding. The efficiency of getting food out to their customers was something like I’ve never seen before. Thank you Spanky’s Grille for helping make our vacation one to remember forever!

This is our favorite restaurant in the OBX! Family owned and run is the way to go! We come here atleast 10 times thru the summer when we come down! The food is amazing and the best staff/owners! You cannot beat the price anywhere!
