Some of the best BBQ I've had. We came in town from Florida to watch the Tennessee vs LSU game. Sunday morning before heading back to Nashville to catch a flight we stopped at the Vols shop across from the station. When leaving the shop to find something to eat we ran into Vols TE's Ethan and Eli Wolf and asked if they recommended a good place for lunch. They said Dead End BBQ, so that is were we went. Thanks to the Wolf boys as we will make Dead End BBQ a must every time we are in Knoxville
4 of us were passing through Knoxville and wanted some Tennessee BBQ. We split a "Family Feast" (ribs, brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken). Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour.
The chose 4 sides with the meal; baked beans, mac and cheese, potato salad and sweet potato chips. The sweet potato chips were incredible! We've never tried anything like that!
We had to finish the meal with banana pudding.
Top notch all the way
Our server, Ellen, was amazing. She made some suggestions as to ordering, and was professional and attentive all evening.
We traveled to knoxville buying produce and Dead End is right beside the produce place. This was our first time at Dead End and it was really good... I had the Tot-Chos with bbqed ribs and Coke to drink. Definitely will visit there again some of the best bbq I've had in a long time. And the staff was very friendly and patient with it being our first time there. I'm a real food junky and if the food wasn't any good I'd be the first one to say so but I will give Dead End 5 stars.!!!
