Stopped in here to have a bite to eat after a long day in the mountains hiking and biking. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was outstanding with friendly staff and owners. If you want to steer away from the chains while visiting Knoxville area check this place out. Some of the comments you see on here say it is pricy. I really did not fell that they were that bad. If you want cheap Italian food where there is no love and care put into it then go to Fazoli's. If you want a true Italian home cooked meal with delicious ingredients, then this is the place you want to go. You get what you pay for and this place is worth the extra couple of bucks. Plus the ambience is much nicer here:) Thanks Altruda's for a delicious meal and great dining experience.

Wonderful hidden gem. Always delightful with unmatched food and service. So many favorites on the menu it is impossible to find just one. Highly recommend this for excellent Italian cuisine.
