I was just there yesterday. Our server was fabulous and very polite. I am not a big lover of seafood (everyone else with me is, though) so I got a burger and fries. It was awesome! Burger was juicy and flavorful. I don’t usually eat all my fries, but they were so good, I cleaned my plate! Definitely recommend.
Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and some of the best seafood I've ever had. I highly recommend it.
First visit here with the family. It was a great experience, good Cajun food reminds me of Louisiana. The atmosphere was good, our server Madison was very helpful with menu selections. Good selection, you can have many items either grilled or fried. We will return.
Just had a great lunch at this out-of-the-way place in South Knoxville. Got there just after the lunch rush so there wasn't a lot of waiting. I ordered the blackened fish with french fries yams and green beans and my food wasfantastic. Fresh and made to order everything was hot and just the right flavors for a Cajun seafood place.
Our service from Katie was wonderful very helpful andkind. A laid-back atmosphere made my experience very comfortable and my friend and I had a wonderful time. Such a nice pleasant surprise. I'll definitely go back.
I searched for a few places that had seafood before I found this place. The place wasn’t as big as I thought it would be but that didn’t take away from the good food. I tried the blackened alligator (my first time) which I have to admit was very good. I ordered the fried grouper which was very tasty but I wish I had it blackened. The service was fast and friendly. The only thing I wish I’d knew before coming was they didn’t sell alcohol. You can byob which isn’t a deal killer. The weird thing is, they have beer signs all over the restaurant lol. I enjoyed my time and food. I think you will too.
Really not that far from downtown Knoxville. A few minutes from I40 and I75. Worth the quick trip. Crawfish Etouffee and catfish was spot on. The Gumbo was really good too. I’m from Louisiana and this is the best you will find in east TN. I’ll be back to try more soon. Oh yeah and some gluten free options also.
Never been in before but passed by many times as a lover of nawlins and it's food I'm glad I did. Only had a shrimp po boy but it was damn good. Plenty of shrimp cooked just right with an excellent remoulade. Service was also spot on. Greeted nicely when I came in and quickly seated and we'll taken care of for the rest of my lunch. I'll be back got to try that blackened alligator.
Great food and good atmosphere. Beer is a little expensive @ $3.50 ea. * 12/15/16 Update: my wife and I were in the area and stopped by for a quick bite. We discovered they no longer serve alcohol? However, they allow the customer to brown-bag BYOB.
One of the few places you can get Authentic Cajun cuisine in the area. Love their crawfish - reminds me of life on the gulf coast. Bayou Bay is a must during the Mardi Gras season!!
The crab legs were steamed perfectly! Customer service was excellent! We were traveling and was grateful to find this spot.
