Went here for happy hour. Small menu for happy hour but I gotta say that the burger was AMAZING!!!
I would recommend trying the burger which I think they only serve during happy hour.
Chef Michael Mina himself came out and we thanked him for the great food.
He also recommended the premium steaks and one special steak that is not on the menu. Sorry guys cannot tell you what that is. Your going to have to go there and ask him yourself.
I will definitely go back.

The portions are huge, could probably be shared 3 ways but who's kidding right we all know we like to gorge ourselves on giant portions & pig out whenever possible. My husband and I shared the chicken pot pie and it was AMAZING. Been many years since I was there last. Good choice for my friends bday party.
So we roll into the establishment I've been visiting for 20+ years & request outdoor dining as we're only there for Happy Hour snacks. She gives attitude & says we must sit indoor in the bar to be eligible for Happy Hour. We're extra cautious during COVID so I request a manager. In comes Charlie to save our date night. Can't say enough about this dude. He assigned us a Server outdoor, honored Happy Hour prices & repeatedly checked on us personally throughout the evening. Kudos Charlie, Charles, CJ. I honestly woulda shunned the place had u not stepped in to save the day.
I have to give Claim Jumpers a big thank you for how they treat the Vets on Veterans Day. A great meal, great service and eager for the day. I ended up also getting desert, which was way more than I could eat, but my kids enjoyed the butter cake when I got home. The Meatloaf dinner was so delicious as well. Thank you again and I will continue to bring my family here outside of Veterans Day.
Amazing experience with all that is going on. Very professional and courteous staff. Social distancing and great service. I had the 12 oz Prime Ribeye and it was amazing. The servers made sure that we did not have an empty glass during our visit. Thank you very much I greatly appreciate how we were treated. We'll definitely be making more trips to this location.
This place is fantastic!! The food was incredible and the service was perfect. We sat in the lounge and Katie was our server. She was so sweet and informative. We asked for recommendations and the items she picked for us were so good! A+ for Katie & Bourbon Steak!
We had the best date night at the La Mesa Claim Jumper. The server, Alberto was absolutely fabulous!!! He was very attentive and a lot of fun. I would definitely request him next time. The food and beer were perfection!! And the manager Chloe was sweet and amazing!!! Thank you guys for your amazing service!!!!
