My friends & I visited Lafayette for Mardi Gras. We randomly decided to eat here and fell in love. The menu had various options without being overwhelming. Staff was very helpful, especially with us being tourist. The theme of “twins” and having various pictures of twins that came to establishment was a great concept, really made me want a twin lol. I got the chicken sandwich. It was very tender and delicious; the only con was the cheese not being melted on my burger. Seasoned fries were a bit much, I had to trade out with friends for some unseasoned fries to balance it out. We didn’t get anything from the bakery section BUT we did try the gingerbread men and fell in LOVE! They were so delicious; soft, flavorful, and a perfect amount of cinnamon. We were all disappointed about only getting one pack of two. Sadly they weren’t open the Sunday we left because we were looking forward to going back.
I come here mainly for the red velvet cake, but hamburgers and other baked goods are delicious.
There red velvet cake is the best I have ever had. This is my #1 cheat meal. If you visiting Lafayette this is a must try. You will not regret it. Your waistline might but your taste buds won't.
I went for a milkshake and decided to get there evil burger. This was my very first time here and definitely will be going back. The burger was full of flavor which is hard to find these days. As for the birthday cake ice cream was very good with real pieces of cake and real whip cream on top.
What a fun joint!?!? Loved all of it!!! Will definitely be stopping next time I drive through Lafayette.
Twins is great. I was once a guy that had no luck with the ladies. I'd get to know them, they'd reject me, and I'd start over. Over and over again... until I went to Twins. I ordered the Evil Twin (extra jalapeños) and before I could sit down with my order number, several women approached me asking if I was a secret agent, professional wrestler, pacific northwest lumberjack. It got to the point where I started feeling uncomfortable so I slid off to the bathroom. In there I remarked aloud that the bathroom was remarkably clean and well maintained. Finally after wading through the scores of women asking me my number, I sat at my table and my food was promptly brought to me. Biting into the burger I felt a myriad of emotions. On one hand I longed for my first love but on the other I wanted conquest. A lust for blood and gold. The Evil Twin burger exposed something darker but grander within myself. After I ate it I immediately booked a ticket to Antarctica to search for fortune and fame. It's summer now here and I plan to plunge deep into the heart of the lost continent. I'll see you this time next year.
I have visited many times. Twins is a great spot to eat, with an awesome desert selection and good atmosphere, kids seem to love it. To me the food is good, not great. they make a more "classic style" burger so if your looking for something new or different its not the place. but they are consistent and we have never left disappointed. that being said recently i've felt the need to complain about their to-go order policy where we were told we could only order select larger meals, no kids, items, junior burger or sides. It was midly-frustrating because we have a kid and wanted sides and a kids meal, and dont want to be forced to order food that we may waste. We orderd somewhere else for that instance. Overall I still recommend (especially dessert) hopefully they change the odd to-go order policy.
It's been awhile since I been back, but they are definitely better than I remember, just smaller. Got the Twin Burger and the Evil Twin, both was very delicious! I hear their egg sandwiches are pretty solid too, probably will be back to try those.

The best shake I've ever had. Great other flavors and other desserts as well. I will be back and will tell a friend.
Best burger by far imo!! Patties are so flavorful and tasty. Would come back again.
To that JOJOCHRIS guy that compared this place to Burger King and rated it 3 stars doesn’t know good food. He rated WAFFLE HOUSE 5 starts. I’m stuck on y’all’s chicken burger. Soemthing so simple. So freaking good.
