If you can’t find something to eat and enjoy at Pat’s, I feel sorry for you. Pat’s seems to have it all...sandwiches, salads, wraps, potatoes, and plate lunches. Plate lunches will fill you up...I highly recommend the fried chicken. The shrimp wrap is delicious and so is their catfish and shrimp plates. While this may not be as good as your mama’s home cooking, it is quite tasty!
I have been here twice for lunch so far and not disappointed in either trip. The hamburgers are large and taste "homemade"
I had a catfish sandwich this trip and it was very good - no fishy taste at all. One of my group had the chicken salad and was disappointed in the overall quality.
Pats. This place is DEE-LISH! The prices are reasonable and the customer service is just A++
Pat's is great!. The food is consistently awesome...Service is usually really good even during Downtown Alive and Festival. Afterhours at Pat's is always fun!
Deja Vu. Pat's downtowen is hard to get to during busy work days, but the food is good. So it's worth the trouble. This is the same family that used to run the Lunch Box on Moss street. The plate lunches are great and the people are friendly, but rushed. This place hops during lunch.
Amazinnggg. Shrimp on a bun is my all time favorite with curly-q fries! they have the greatest lunch menu!
Best fried catfish in Lafayette. I stopped by to picked up a tray of catfish, fries and hushpuppies to treat some family for lunch. The owner greeted me at the counter and helped with my order even threw in some bread pudding for us as well. The food was a 10 in taste and freshness. If you find yourself downtown definitely stop in you'll be glad you did.

Love us some Pat's!! Their food is so good and very authentic, no box mixes here!! If they do use any they season and cook the "box flavor" out and it tastes homemade!!

A friend of mine wasn't doing well in the heat of Festival International, so we were recommended by a stranger to stop in. The staff went out of their way to make sure my friend had water, an ice pack, and that she was ok. My group ended up staying for lunch; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was so inviting!
Stopped by chance and so glad we did. Delicious Gumbo, bread pudding and peach cobbler. Great service. Will be back and can’t recommend enough!!
