Whether you just want to buy a simple meal or a more substantial protein for a larger get-together, reminiscent of large-family get-togethers where the smell of sizzling meat is wafting in the air from a grill, D&R is the place to go. In fact, this is the only place from which I will order barbeque in town. Their smoked chicken is my absolute favourite of all time and a treat. Throughout the years, their barbeque from their smoked brisket, pulled pork, to their chicken has been moist, delectable, and full of flavour -- and consistently so. And, in terms of Thanksgiving (turkey), they offer a few options for preparation that range from smoked to deep fried which are absolutely delicious! Their sides are delicious and pair together nicely to evoke nostalgic images in your head of a hearty, country picnic or some large state or county fair. Friends with whom I have shared their loaded baked-potato salad rave about it. They also make a nice broccoli-slaw salad and pea salad, among other things. Also, their staff are always helpful and patient regardless of how busy their establishment can get. So, if you want a touch of summer tastes in the middle of this bleak and cold winter, you should try getting take out of at least their pulled pork, brisket, or smoked chicken with one or two of their sides. Your cravings and taste buds will thank you. But if you want food that is easy to resist, you waistline may hate you for getting a meal from D&R -- you will not want to put your fork down until every last morsel of food is consumed.

Great place to order catering. Probably one of the best known barbecue food. Have the best Beef brisket, smoked chicken, coleslaw, and mac-n-cheese! Would highly recommend to others in the Lafayette and West Lafayette area.

D&R catered our wedding reception a year ago. Tonight on our first anniversary, we ordered broasted chicken and mac n cheese for our family to celebrate. Every bit as delicious as it was a year ago for 100 people. I appreciate the care D&R has for their employees and the community by limiting their business to curbside pickup. I can't say enough. Absolutely wonderful.

Usually for our larger family and friends get together will call a couple days ahead and get several pounds of pulled pork for the main dish we're never disappointed.
