We moved here a few months ago from the Chattanooga area where food is abundant and we had our FAVORITE Mexican restaurant that we went to regularly. We were worried that we would never find a place close by that would compare....bou were we wrong. We absolutely love this place. The staff is always friendly and accommodating to our special requests. The pool picante is to die for and the guac mexicano is the best I have ever had. Never have we been disappointed. Try it trust me
Love the flavorful food and authenticity. Enchiladas pollo (suiza sauce) and quesadilla el trio (shrimp, chicken and beef) are our favorites. When visiting with family, love visiting El Trio restaurant. The few negative reviewers on this page are talking about something we've never experienced there. Because there's a larger competitor down the road in LaFayette, where I've found the food inauthentic and unappetizing, I wonder ... Let me close with saying again how much my family enjoys eating at El Trio!
My husband and I stopped by on the way to Atlanta. It was delicious and very quick. The salsa is quite yummy and the chicken is seasoned perfectly.
New Favorite!. El Trio is my new favorite Mexican restaurant!! My family and I have been here several times and the food and service have been great every time. The chicken Chimichangas are so full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The cheese dip has a great flavor and is nice and thick. The Pollo Loco (grilled or shredded chicken, rice and white cheese sauce) is always spot on. The sweet tea is a little too sweet for me and I like my tea sweet, other than that I can't think of anything they could improve upon. Give them a try, I'm sure you will be glad that you did!
The Lafayette location was cozy and the delicious Taco Salads were served quickly.

My family ate here today at lunch for the first time. The chicken Fajitas and Loco rice are both great. They give you a ton if food for the price and the waitress was on top of it the whole time. My drink never got empty. If I'm ever back in the area I'll stop back in for lunch or dinner.
Always very busy, but that doesn't interfere with timely service, great staff and melt in your mouth delicious food.

Some of the best food I've ever eaten. Not only awesome but large portions. The service is great too. They make certain you've always got what you want. They also have great margaritas. Very good place to dine.
