Found a treasure. Fantastic food.. Prime rib and fish fry were great. Will definitely go again if in the area!

Cool Place. The sunday bloody bar is pretty good. You basically just get a bloody with all the fixings plus a basket with wings and whatever else the owner feels like throwing in that day. The friday fish fry is pretty good too. The bluegill is pretty darn good. If you have never been, its a good place to check out.

I have just come home from the BEST Fish Fry I have ever had!! If you are looking for some "high brow" place with loads of ambiance... This is NOT the place for you. But, if you are looking for the BEST fish fry in Jefferson County...you will love it! We went on a busy Friday. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. At the bar, which was loaded with "locals", I had a martini, which was good and my husband ordered a beer from a good selection of tap & bottle beers. The bartenders were friendly and funny. We were seated at a small table in a busy section. Our waitress, Rhonda took our order immediately. We chose the cod and the perch. The salad bar had pasta salads, seven layer salad (what a treat!) beet salad and coleslaw along with dinner rolls. Our fish came out shortly after we finished our salads. Our food was excellent and hot. Both types of fish were lightly breaded, and flavorful. I have lived here many years and have been to a lot of places for fish, but I have never had a better meal than at the Aztalan Inn. The people were friendly, the food was wonderful and our server, Rhonda took excellent care of us. We will go there again and again and tell everyone we know that if you want the best Friday (or Wednesday) night fish fry around...head to The Aztalan Inn!!
