This place is insanely good! So worth a trip up here alone. Best biscuits and gravy, I have ever had, including pre-gluten free days. Chocolate caramel cupcake, maple bacon doughnut, both were amazing, and trying a cinnamon roll later today! My bar for gluten-free foods has been raised to a whole new level...so has my blood sugar level. Wow!

Kyra's Bake Shop is unmatched in gluten-free offerings, but also customer service. Every time I go I make a point of trying out her new flavors, and also ordering "old" favorites like cinnamon rolls & maple-bacon doughnuts (omg!!!). I even love her cakes (and I don't even like cake). It should be noted that I live in Los Angeles. It is not an exaggeration to say that I travel to PDX, at the very least, twice a year just to eat at Kyra's. There is nothing like it in Portland, nothing like it on the west coast, and nothing like it in the whole country. If you are gluten-free and you live in the area you should be there weekly. If you are anywhere else in the country, you owe it to yourself to make a gluten-free pilgrimage to the bake shop. You will be SO HAPPY you did!!

This is the best gluten free bakery and lunch spot that I have ever been to! The bread is AMAZING and the pastries are even better! I've been gluten free for 10+ years and haven't found anything like it. I currently live in Denver, but next time and every time I come to Portland, this will be on my To-do list!
