Went today for their first day in the new place where the bowling alley and Big D's Garage Bar is. Interior of the place looks awesome!! They are only doing a limited menu as kind of a soft opening. Fish dip was awesome!!! Dirty potato skins were loaded with bacon and cheese, very good. Fried mushrooms were tasty but you got to like mushrooms. I know their BBQ and breakfast (best sausage and gravy in highlands county) is on point so can't wait till that is up and going on Monday!!

Marion and I stopped by for dinner and what a wonderful surprise. The best fried dill pickle chips for appetizers. The greens were excellent. I treated myself to a ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. Marion had the brisket which was tender and delicious also. We split a piece of cinnamon roll cheese cake (why don't my clothes fit anymore?) which was a slice of delicious decadence. As wonderful as our dinner was, the service was even better. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, on top of everything. The owners could not have been nicer. We can't wait to go back to Smoke Shack BBQ! Great food, great service! Thank you for a dinner that was a real treat!

The food and the service was excellent...stopped in for a quick lunch and the food was so good we ordered carryout for dinner. The fried dill pickles are the best we've ever eaten...and being from the south we have eaten a lot of them. We will definitely be regulars!!
