Friendly service and authentic German fare. I have traveled Austria and Germany. I have been to Oktoberfest in Munich, visited Berlin, eaten schnitzel in Vienna, and pretzels in Bavaria. This place does them proud. The one pound pretzel is freshly made and delicious, with the beer cheese sauce adding just the right amount of kick. The schnitzel is true to its lineage and absolutely tasty. Even the selection of German beers would feel right at home in any grandma shop in Germany!
Great place to get some comfort food and German beers on tap. The Schnitzel is really great and worth it. The spaetzle is also really good. The bratwursts are good but over priced. There is a help yourself sauerkraut area and a large selection of mustards to choose from. In general things here feel a bit expensive but it's still good food. When it's warm enough out there is a small outdoor area with that is better than the cramped indoor seating area and we always go out there.
Always killer food and beer everytine I go here. If you want authentic German food, skip the trip to Leavenworth and go to Lake Steven's. Homemade everything.

The schnitzel almondine special with green beans was delicious. Add to that with cold beers, friendly service, and food cooked fresh when you order. Can't get much better than that. :)
Wonderful spot! Great atmosphere and fantastic food. The fresh sauerkraut was mild enough for most everyone, the handcut fries were crisp and perfect, the potato salad was delicious and tangy with lots of vinegar goodness

Love their house-made pretzels & scratch-made food! Delicious jager schnitzel with spaetzel, marinated beets, and VERY tasty brats & wursts!! Not to mention very friendly!

Awesome little local eatery with great German food. The food and drink were very tasty and very German, and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff were very friendly, too!
1st time here. Huge brat, so full of flavor! Also got the schnitzel sandwich, so good! The breading was nice and crisp and the meat was so tender. Whole grain mustard was amazing on the brat. Can't wait to try more from here!
