We went to Craft + Kitchen for the first time today for their weekend brunch and met up with some good friends. Not only was the company great, but the food, music and ambiance were all amazing and impressive. Very chill and cool vibe, friendly and attentive staff, great owners, and THE FOOD!! The German appetizer was delicious pretzel with nuts, grapes, sliced brat and cheese, which all went together wonderfully! The Get Twisted app was similar but had a flavorful cheese dipping sauce with it that I want to purchase by the bucketful! I had the shrimp and grits which were very tasty and yummy without being crazy spicy (for those who can’t take too much spice). My husband was also impressed with the Oh Hey Rocky pork sandwich that came on a baguette. My oldest son had the Flighty Bird chicken panini and ended up ordering a second one, it was so good! My other 2 boys enjoyed the cheeseburger and devoured the waffles and bacon! For dessert, they have s’mores that comes with a little flaming pot so you toast your own s’mores right there on your own table! Very unique and really fun! We also had the key lime pie, which was one of the best I’ve had and wasn’t too tart like some others I’ve had elsewhere. Highly, HIGHLY recommend and, as a Polk County native, we will definitely be back every time we are in town! Can’t wait til next time.
