My wife and I love this place! She always gets the bubble tea and I enjoy trying all the different smoothie choices. This place is great and locally owned by friends of ours. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Great food and drinks and they are healthy too!

Best bubble tea in the area! My daughter loves the frozen yogurt and all the toppings to choose from. Beautiful theme cakes and treats for different events.
**Update** if I could leave another 5 star review I would! We are a family of 7 and have ordered our last 4 birthday cakes from here and they have all been amazing! The cake decorator has came through with every design and always had availability to do our cakes even with the same week notice! We are going out of town for one of our kids birthdays and contacted 2 bakeries so far in the area we are traveling to and have had no luck getting a cake made. One bakery never contacted me back and the other had me give my whole cake order just to tell me they were booked on a Wednesday and couldn't do it. I even said I could pick it up the day before and guess they were also booked on a Tuesday. I know Purple Penguin would have no trouble coming through with a great tasting, beautifully decorated and fairly priced cake! Never knew how challenging it could be to find a talented cake artist who can make the cake you want and now that I do it makes me appreciate our local bakeries here in Toledo even more with Purple Penguin being our top favorite! We just ordered a marble cake with chocolate mousse and it was the best marble cakes we ever had. Absolutely delicious!
Service was excellent! It was clean, quiet, and cute. We tried ice cream cones, Frappuccino, strawberry smoothie, Boba tea, some cookies, and pup cups. Everyone loved it especially our fur babies.
Very talented employees! I purchased a dozen hot chocolate bombs for the holidays and they were not only delicious but so pretty! I also love their ice cream cupcakes, a must try.

I LOVE this ice cream place! Me and my mom went here after visiting the zoo. Even tho it is 40 minutes away from my house, I will be coming back.

Their frozen yogurt is full of rich creamy flavor & the toppings are scrumptious & fresh. It's a great place for take-out or dinning with a modern clean decor. Purple Penguin is kid friendly & especially great for birthday parties. I'd recommend this place to everyone that enjoys a family friendly establishment that serves the best sweet treats in town and I'd even say far superior than anything in Toledo or Ann Arbor! Pretty great place. Has a good selection of frozen yogurt that you dispense yourself. If you're not in the mood for that, then you can order a smoothie. There's a sitdown area inside. I come here a lot with my family
