Great local restaurant! We went here for the first time in years and all had a great experience. The food was very good, the service was nice, and the prices were reasonable! I got the gyro and it was very good. My husband got a big burger, and it was filling and very good as well. Overall a great experience and would recommend it for anyone!
I know this restaurant is controversial, just to preface. They have had quite a few accusations of racism and the old owner was not great (check LNP). However, I had a good experience this past week with a friend. Service was good, atmosphere was really cool on the rooftop, and the food was quite yummy. I’d recommend trying it out unless you can’t get past the accusations. Only complaint I had was that there was a black bug in my salad.. we were outside so it could’ve been from that. Or it was already there, not sure. Our waitress was nice.

We had a long overdue meet the boyfriend’s parents brunch at this Greek restaurant. He has great parents. Who knows. They might be in-laws.
I hadn’t eaten Greek food in over 40 years when my dad and I frequented the local Greek restaurant eating and downing retsina. What’s retsina? The flavor of retsina, a wine infused with the resin of Aleppo pine trees, tastes like turpentine. I loved the stuff. But it was awful. Most modern retsinas are made with poor, thin wine. A potent addition of resin masks the dullness of the base with a sharp, bracing pungency. You should try it, if only once in your life.
Anyway. I knew beforehand what I’d order. Moussaka!
What’s that you ask? It’s an eggplant- or potato-based dish, often including ground meat. It’s kind of a Greek shepherd’s pie. (I hope I didn’t offend anyone)
The restaurant sits in Lancaster City, which some would describe as hip, cool, and up-and-coming. I would. There’s lots to do, see and buy. The area is really neat. We’re going back there to check out its unique and antique (not antiques to buy) architecture and businesses, which are trapped in time.
Oh yeah, the restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Modern decor. Quiet. Food was great. Reasonable prices. Service was great. If I wanted Greek food again, I’d eat there if I was in the city.
Restaurant on the 1st floor with Greek food. I think there is a bar upstairs but I only ate downstairs. Nice friendly atmosphere.
I only had Buffalo Wings, Fries and Mozzarella Sticks. I had 6 wings with 2 coming extra extra crispy.. The meat was pretty much non existent on those 2 wings but the others were great! The cook has to see these things and just not serve them. I looked at them and knew it was going to be a terrible wing. The Mozzarella sticks were at room temperature.. So no cheese pull at all. Now the fries were excellent!
In celebration of wife's birthday recently, we dined at one of our favorite restaurants in Lancaster: Yorgos! From the relaxing yet elegant atmosphere (I recommend seating on the second level for a more intimate setting) to the superior service provided by David (he is VERY good at what he does)---he even provided my wife with a special dessert for the occasion (the rice pudding was a nice touch!) to the absolutely delicious authentic Greek cuisine (the lamb, fish, spanakopita and ouzo was AMAZING!), our second visit was just as enjoyable as the first time!
The only downside was we didn't get a chance to see and chat with the owner (Yorgos) who greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome during our initial visit.
Thanks to the great food and even better staff, we look forward to coming back real soon!
Had a good breakfast here. For dinner on the second floor tonight, we enjoyed the entire second floor space alone, without a second table of guests.
All dishes are delicious. The restaurant environment is very nice. The service is also amiable.
Come try different dishes next time.
I had a couple delicious seasonal cocktails with dinner. I had never had a cinnamon flavored cosmopolitan until now, it was complemented by the orange and cranberry flavors added to it.
Comfortable upstairs dining area with elegant interior design.
The restrooms felt clean during my visit.
The staff was helpful and professional.
I've been here a couple times for breakfast. The staff is friendly and very attentive.
