The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portion was generous. I couldn’t help but reminisce about my younger days when I frequented this restaurant for lunch. Back then, my go-to order was the “Ranchero Burrito,” a side of nachos, and a schooner of beer. It was a combination that I cherished, and it’s been approximately four decades since I last enjoyed it at El Azteco. The fact that this restaurant has maintained its high-quality, delicious Mexican cuisine over the years is a testament to its consistency and commitment to serving fantastic food. Whether you’re seeking a taste of nostalgia or simply in the mood for some outstanding Mexican fare, El Azteco on Saginaw St. in Lansing is a must-visit. El Azteco is one of my favorite places to go for lunch when I am in Lansing. I especially love their patio seating. It's a little oasis in the middle of hectic work days. The wait staff is incredibly friendly and kind. The food is delicious. I have tried something different each time I go and have not been disappointed yet.
