Fantastic addition to the downtown area! Lansing definitely needed a legit coffee shop and Troost is it! The drinks are delicious and every barista is knowledgeable about the menu. It is so incredibly nice to walk into a place full of character, charm, and genuine people. Added bonus: the owner, Renae, is amazing - round of applause for women making things happen in small business (with a little assist from coffee, of course). I'm not kidding when I say everything I've tried here is good, mostly because their drinks aren't completely masked in sugar - you can taste the coffee, which any real coffee drinker wants! Shop local and you won't be disappointed.
