The local pizza shop. After months of searching for a non-chain pizza place in Laredo, I finally stumbled upon Sal's Pizza. There is no menu, just a few seats, and only one size of pizza.
That being said, this is solid New York-style pizza. It's about $12 for a one topping pizza, and as far as I know there are dine in lunch specials and take out. The crust is thin, soft, and floppy. The owner has been making pizza for about 30 years, about 14 of them in Laredo. Hands down this beats every chain pizza, and the price is certainly fair for a large pizza. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
This is the best pizza on planet Earth! I recently came back to try the pizza I had as a teenager when I used to go to the one at Mall del Norte! Omg! This pizza is amazing! There’s no one that can replicate this, only one stop in CA, one spot in TX, and I’m sure a couple more in New York! This is real authentic New Work style pizza and the cheese with the sauce is so amazing! The full size pizza I’m pretty sure is all they’re doing right now. They have cokes, sodas, etc. I’m so glad these people are still around. I can’t believe the best New York style pizza is in a border town! ☺️😉😋🍕
Just as we remember!! Great pizza fo sho. Thin, hot, fresh and crust a lil toasted and WOW. Was a lil pricey but definitely worth a milli 💰 large pizza pep/ 2 cokes $25. Young lady was so attentive, restroom clean, restaurant was smelling great. Shows they really take pride in their establishment and food. Will come back
This pizza place has been around for over forty years. It was located in Mall del Norte years ago Mr Ibanez is the owner and chef He makes each pizza with love The pizza is so cheesey, and the pepperonis are just right. Try one fresh out of the oven They are huge too and so deicious

Picture doesn't do it justice. We were looking for a "not taco place" around here and Sal's pizza was the only thing we could find that wasn't fast food. Mom and Pop kind of restaurant. Very friendly place. The pizza was incredible! It was delicious! The owner was very kind and had the pizza ready in what seemed like 10 minutes. I definitely recommend it.

Very humble place to stop and get some authentic New York style pizza. Not 1 bad thing i have to say about the place. I recommend for more people to go and check this place out.

THE BEST PIZZA PLACE EVER! It’s honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had & will continue having. The large slices are size portion & the customer service makes you feel at home. Highly recommend it to anyone that’s in Laredo,TX or traveling/passing by.
