100% of a hidden gem just waiting for you to discover. A small business who has been here since 1975 and serves an array of excellent Italian dishes. The inside is definitely a wonderful step back into time decor. This was a great dinner and cannot wait to come back for something different. Thanks Lawrence you made the dinner entertaining.

Quaint & unique dining spot with old school Italian meals like your Grandma used to make. Good food, large portions, attentive service & fair pricing. Wine & beer only, no cocktails. Make a reservation, it's super tiny. Highly recommend.

This was the best meal I have had in Vegas after living in the valley for almost two years. The place is small and intimate, the staff is friendly and personable, and the food is wonder. We ordered the baked clams, baked tortellini (photo attached), and a special of crab raviolis and jumbo shrimp (photo attached). This is going to be a new favorite of ours but we will probably pass on the appetizer next time since the portions are big.

Tiny old school Vegas institution. Service was quick and friendly. Excellent bread , solid red sauce and generous portions of seafood. Could have used a bit more seasoning. Mussels and shrimp were cooked perfectly. We will be back to check out the classic dishes next time.

Very authentic, and very delicious, big serving. Definitely a good spot to eat. Rat pack old hang out. Got the gulf shrimp Parmigiano with a lobster tail. Will be visiting when I come back. Friendly waiter.

Small local business no-fuss old school Vegas style Italian restaurant! I went after work on a Tuesday evening. It was steadily busy with only 2 servers, but they were nice and working hard to stay attentive to every table. At one point the theme from Mannequin was playing and one of the waiters was enthusiastically whistling along, which I thought was absolutely hilarious. I don't think anyone else noticed.... They have something for everyone from reasonably priced traditional dishes to pricier items. The online menu did not seem accurate. They had an $18 deal with Lasagna or other dishes and a dinner salad. I got the $20 deal Chicken Parmigiana with pasta and a dinner salad. I loved it. It was both cheesy and saucy, which is how I like it. The sauce was on point! There was no way to finish all of it off especially after having bread. Salad and bread were served immediately after ordering. The wine is served in what seems like a small glass, but it appears to be a standard ~5oz pour to me. You can always buy a bottle if that's not enough for you....The location is downtown by the Art Houz Theater, another awesome local gem. Any downtown in any city is going to have sketch people, not a reason to judge a local restaurant for people existing in the nearby area. I loved this local gem and will absolutely be back. It reminds me of small local Italian restaraunts in NY. If this isn't what you like, you can go to a casino on-strip and pay $40/plate pp for mediocre fare and pay $20 to park on top of it while waiting forever to sit and get your food; that's all I'm sayin'.

This tiny little Italian restaurant is unique in many ways, both good and bad, but undeniably has some charm. Chicago Joe's serves good, not greats Italian cuisine. Service was very good and attentive, not snobby and uptight, very down to earth. Located in an old house, this place definitely has its wear and tear. Struggling for words, I would say this is a dive bar of Italian restaurants. But as we all know dive bars aren't necessarily bad. I mean who doesn't love a dive bar? The reason I say this is because the place is old and has its fair share of wear and tear. To get to the bathrooms you get a peek into the kitchen and the dishwashing area. My wife got the lasagna I got the pasta Angelo. Both dishes were very very good actually my wife loved the lasagna! Served with warm loaves of bread and yes you can get a second. Entrees come with salads with homemade dressing either Italian or creamy garlic. I would give this place a recommendation and if in the area with a hankering for Italian I would return.

Great Italian atmosphere and very unique experience. Interesting side of town but the place does not disappoint once inside. It appears that you might need reservations as we were asked as soon as we walked in. Personally I had spaghetti and meatballs with an appetizer of garlic bread. When you get seated you'll be served a basked of bread and butter that's not including your appetizers so don't be like me and eat a lot of bread. Unlike any other restaurants I've been to and this might just be my experience with restaurants I have gone to but this one and does charge for water. Over all a great experience and would try it again or I would recommend try once.

To start our server was Darren. Quick, amazing service from him. Always on top of drinks, on top of the bread. Offered phenomenal suggestions. The location is in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, off of 4th Street. A once upon a house, converted into one of the best (if not the best) restaurants I’ve ever eaten at here in Vegas (like better than Hells Kitchen). I was with a party of 3. One got the Fettuccine Alfredo, me along with another patron got the Seafood Joe (scallops, shrimp, lobster, mushrooms, in a garlic butter sauce served on a bed of linguine). All of the entrees were OUT OF THIS WORLD. The pasta is freshly made, the seafood was phenomenal. The Alfredo is made by scratch and you can taste it too. To start they bring you out bread, the bread was fresh, warm, tasty, no butter required! (But it is offered). We also got 2lbs of the baked mussels in spicy marinara. The mussels were large, there was pasta in the dish, and the marinara was phenomenal to dip the bread in. The pricing on dishes are also great! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Chicago Joe’s, if you’re a local or a tourist you MUST try this place out. Please make sure you have a reservation as well as making it well in advance!
