*GERMAN APPROVED*
I got nostalgic eating here. The sample platter is filling, delicious and very authentic! The sausage was one of the most delicious I've ever had. I've not been back home since before covid started and this made me tear up and homesick. I will definitely return here but instead of the black Forest gateau (which is the only food I had that didn't taste like home, in my opinion) I'd try the Strudel, which looked like my mom's. Very excited to have found a place that is authentic to home and not pretentious. I wish their beer selection was wider and that the service was a bit more attentive but very kind and I'm looking forward to going back.
This has a good local restaurant feel, but was well cleaned. There was one server working and she was fast and attentive to all tables in the smaller diner. Great German cuisine! Would recommend.
* Update- I had to back for another round of perfectly cooked Snitzle and once again it was spectacular. This time I asked how they manage to get the dish perfectly golden brown and crispy without the breading falling off. I was told it’s because they use a true authentic home cooking method which is pan fried unlike other places that use a deep fryer. They also make their spetzle noodles from scratch every day which is very hard to find! I got some better shots of the interior this time. It’s soooo cute inside here!
was craving some spaetzle and this place knocked my socks off! The food was quick, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was unexpectedly awesome its super cute inside.
