This restaurant was recommended to me, and to be honest, I was not a fan. The food did not match the high price. I did not like the steak it was not seasoned and overcooked. The baked potato and mac and cheese were under seasoned. On the plus side, the chicken was moist, and breaded shrimp was yummy. The bread with butter was delicious. The service was good, and the server was attentive. The atmosphere was interesting. Please give it a chance and let me know how your experience goes.

Came here for Christmas dinner. We didn't stay at the resort so needed directions from our hotel. Google took us to some obscure location on Fremont Street so be sure to enter Golden Nugget Casino as the destination. We called to let them know and arrived about 30 minutes late, so we lost our booth request but we were still accommodated for dinner. Our server was very nice, we placed our order and the food came out quickly. I ordered the center cut steak and fried shrimp with baked potato, hubby ordered center cut steak with grilled shrimp and fries. Hands down one of the best steaks we've had in a very long time. It was cooked correctly and exactly as ordered (medium well). It was easy to cut, juicy, flavorful, topped with a tiny scoop of butter, and tasty enough to eat with no added steaksauce. Both types of shrimp were cooked well, tasty, but nothing extra ordinary. Same with baked potatoes and fries. Atmosphere a bit noisy but not too loud that you couldn't have a conversation. Server didn't refill our water or check back until we were done and sitting for about 10 minutes, but it didn't take away from our experience. You do have to pay for parking, which was self park. You have to use your phone to scan the parking app, and they go by your license plates, not tickets. The hostess validated our parking at the hostess stand directly in our phone, so no parking fee nor any issues leaving the parking. They also provided a military discount (hubby is a 20 year vet.) The restaurant is inside the casino, in the Rush Tower- all things we had to call and/or ask about. Very pleasant experience, and extremely affordable (all things considered) so we will definitely visit again.

Our second time here and never been disappointed. We had bone -in Ribeye perfectly cooked to our request with loads of sautéed mushrooms. Quality, price and portion much better than those in the strip.

First time visiting Texas and this place alone makes me want to come back . Must stop when on the River Walk ! Got the boneless ribeye with crab on top . Me and my friend split and the server was even nice enough to to cut it in half and split our add on toppings for us ! Thoughtful and sweet people . Love the southern hospitality !

We parked at the Golden Nugget to watch the free Shaggy concert Thanksgiving Eve. We walked in and decided to have dinner at Saltgrass. The wait at the front desk was brief, only waiting about 1-2 minutes. The atmosphere fits the typical date night restaurant. It took some time for the server to acknowledge us, but once she asked for our drinks, she was every attentive. She brought bread with our drinks and the bread was warm and delicious. We ordered loaded potatoes, and it was definitely unique! I enjoyed them as I am a big potato skins guy. Now on to the steak. This did not stand up to my expectations. We ordered a ribeye and sweet potato. The potato was good and perfectly cooked. The ribeye was cooked at a great medium, juicy pink center. The favor was very bland. I would think it's preseasoned based on the type of restaurant this is. I normally don't add steak sauce, but it needed it. Saltgrass, you let me down on the steak, but everything else was great. If you decide to go, let me know how your steak and visit went? Love to hear your feedback. Enjoy!!!

Nice family friendly steak house located in the Golden Nugget Casino on Fremont Street. Part of a chain of steak houses, the Saltgrass is not unique but offers standard steak, grilled and textmex fare at "Las Vegas reasonable" prices. The staff are kind, helpful and friendly which goes a long way in making a memorable experience.

The steaks are okay but dry. The food is not inexpensive. The salmon was good with the asparagus.

It is one of the better steakhouses in town and very fairly priced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable the serving sizes were well worth the price.

Booked in advance, as a gift from my sister to grab a steak in Vegas, fantastic service our server was great continually checking everything was good but not in an annoying way, Steaks were cooked perfectly and fries and mac and cheese accompanied well, would visit again without question. Reccomend if you're in the Fremont area and fancy a solid steak.
