St. Tropez Buffet Las Vegas

Amazingly Good. For a basic buffet without the lines this might be the best bargain in town. I don't know what Gayot is talking about lines. There were none for breakfast. . .on a Saturday morning. . . at 9:00. This should be the busiest time. We waltzed right in. I was the only one in the omelette line and the chef did a wonderful job making my Denver omelet. She lightly basted my omelet with butter. It was fine. There were a lot of options. The grits were very good. It was neither heavy mushy clumps, nor a watery mess. They were smooth and delicious. I skipped over the biscuits because tapping on one with some serving tongs, made me notice how dried out they became from being under the heat lamps. I had some of their bread pudding (no picture, sorry) and it was much better than most places where I've had it. (Side note: You gotta get the bread pudding at the Golden Nugget. The absolute standard for B. P.) The carrot cake was also very good.

My friend likes coming here because they serve lox and bagels, at least on the weekend. The bagels are big and fresh. They normally have kugel too, but not today. This is one of his favorite breakfast spots. I thought it was good too. We were well-attended to by our server. Coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice and water were always refilled as needed. Very good buffet away from the Strip.
