Because of its status as one of the world's premier tourist destinations, Las Vegas is home to some of the finest cuisine on earth. Nearly any style you can think of is represented here at the highest level, and as a result we are in the unique position of having a vast and varied supply network of the best quality ingredients from all over the globe. In Las Vegas, if it exists, we can get it. This is true throughout the valley, not just on The Strip, and one of our most brightly shining examples is Kaiseki Yuzu. Owner and chef Kaoru Azeuchi has built (in some cases literally) a dining experience that holds its own against the best of the best. Training in Tokoshima from an early age, Chef Azeuchi-san is a true master of his craft and his expertise shows at every level. From the miso soup and tempura to Foie Gras and A5 Wagyu Beef from Miyazaki, each item on the menu is a culinary work of art. The best part is that enjoying Kaiseki Yuzu can be as casual as a lunch break from the office, or as formal as its namesake: Kaiseki. It is an art form balancing taste, texture, appearance, and color of the food presented. The kaiseki menu at Yuzu is created for the customer using fresh seasonal ingredients, and as such reservations in advance are required. If you live in Las Vegas, or are visiting and you love Japanese food, do not miss Kaiseki Yuzu. The food is insane, the atmosphere is friendly and cozy, and the prices are reasonable. Why are you still sitting there? Go. Now.

We travel to dine, eating at many Michelin started restaurants across the country. We also love Japanese cuisines and have even experienced such in Japan. This place is easily within our top 5 dining experiences ever. The service was impeccable, the staff and chef were personable and friendly, and the food was amazingly fresh, prepared perfectly, and matched well while remaining seemingly authentic. Highly recommend to anyone considering going, well worth the drive/Uber off the strip!!!

First time kaiseki experience and the bar has been set high. The 10 course meal was around 2 hours, but it didn't feel like this at all due to the pacing of the courses. There were 8 seats in front of the chef and a few private rooms. The wait staff was very attentive by refilling water, removing dishes and explaining each course being served. Was also fascinating to see the prep going into each dish. Overall a wonderful experience and the chef also came by at the end of the meal to ask us how it was and thanked us for coming.

This review is for the new omakase here at Kaiseki Yuzu. This is one of the best meals I have ever had in Las Vegas. Scratch that, probably in my entire life. Now I have never been to Japan but their sushi is flown in from Japan so can I now say my mouth has been to Japan? Loved everything I ate here from start to finish. I didn’t think I would get so full but I was very full at the end of the meal. It’s an 8-course meal but most courses have multiple items. I am not going into detail about every single thing I had here because you just have to try it out for yourself. No wonder food influencers have been hyping this place up. It’s truly worth it! Plus, the staff’s attention to detail is impeccable, from the chef to our server. My sake and water glass was never empty. Our server wiped down our table even after seeing just one speck of food on there. She is very funny too. The chef really knows what he is doing too, and also has quite the sense of humor. All in all, I would definitely splurge on this place whenever I get the chance. I am dreaming about that melt-in-your mouth O toro!

Amazing first-time kaiseki experience! I chose the $200 option and did not leave disappointed. The quality and flavor combinations of each course/plate was superb and you could tell that the three chefs were very meticulous and involved in the entire preparation process - right in front of you! I didn’t leave feeling stuffed/full but I get that wasn’t the point of the meal and appreciated how well it paired with my sake. I felt almost like I was in Japan itself even though I’d never been. They also accommodated my shellfish allergy despite the difficulty it may have posed to them. Overall, yes it’s pricey but I would do it again in a heartbeat next time I’m in Vegas!

An amazing dining experience, good food and lovely waitress. The atmosphere was very calm and the food was served in a timely manner and prepared right in front of us. We got the Chiku ($165) set and it was almost too much food for us. We saw others get the $210 set and thought it would have been too much food so I think we picked the best option for us. The ingredients and presentation was excellent, the waitress and chefs took turns brining food out and explaining the dishes. I cannot stress how kind and professional the waitress was. As for the food, I'll let the photos below tell the rest of the story...

I had a fabulous meal at Kaiseki Yuzu. Probably the best I've ever had. The flavors were delicate and nuanced, each ingredient providing compliment and contrast to the others. The presentation was a thing of beauty, and the service was warm and welcoming.

Yes, dining at Kaiseki Yuzu is quite expensive, but absolutely worth it in my honest opinion. My date and I had the Shou meal ($210/person), which consisted of 10 courses of the most meticulously prepared dishes I've EVER had. You can taste both the quality of the ingredients, which many were imported from Japan, and the care that went into the preparation and plating. It would not do it justice to call it a great meal, as it was more into an exploration of how wondrous Japanese fine dining can be. Las Vegas is blessed to have Chef Azeuchi...
