Absolutely wonderful! I thought it was a little odd that there were no onions with the kielbasa, but it did not take anything away from the food which was great! Am planning on going back again when my daughter is in town. She is proud of her Polish heritage and loves the food. She will be in heaven here.
We visited this little Polish gem for a Friday supper. We shared several items and they were all delicious. We tried both the pan-fried and deep-fried piergi and a marsala crepe. The gooey Polish fries, a Pierogi Queen invention, are perfectly topped with smoky kielbasa. I am fussy when it comes to golabki (cabbage rolls), and these were very good. But the show stopper was the nalesnicki (aka blini, blintz): delicate perfection.
The food was excellent! Of course, if pierogi is in the name... They better be good. And they were! We tried the meat filled, cheese and potato and sauerkraut. We had ours pan fried with onions - the way to go. All three were well received by our table. A spicy mustard or sour cream would've been great to go with it. I didn't care for the cabbage roll, but the rest of the table cleaned their plates. Their French fries are top notch! They hand cut them a D fry them fresh to order and you can tell. Delicious. Will come back again.
