This place has awesome breakfast options. I will definitely be back. I recommend the banana granola pancake and their potatoes. The scrambled eggs leaves something to be desired but will be back for the pancake!
Update (November, 2016): Multiple recent experiences have been much more positive, with friendlier service, satisfying breakfast entrees, and courteous management.
An irritating experience where our waitress was extremely distracted and inattentive throughout our entire breakfast. After being seated, we had to ask for coffee and water on four separate occasions. Also, instead of being brought coffee and water as requested, we were brought orange juice and milk at first. First Watch's saving grace was its cuisine (which exceeded our expectations and our prior experiences), including fresh fruit, premium coffee, crispy and thick-sliced bacon, whole grain toast, biscuits (made in-house) and turkey sausage gravy, and the market hash (seasoned potatoes, onions, zucchini, red peppers, spinach, roasted mushrooms, melted mozzarella and herbed goat cheese, with two eggs on top).
I really enjoy going to First Watch. For the longest time, I didn't realize it was a breakfast place. I think the name of the restaurant is poor advertising and slightly misleading. However, the food does not disappoint. I typically either order the traditional breakfast (which includes bacon or sausage, potatoes, eggs, and an English muffin) or the cinnamon chip pancake breakfast (which includes a large pancake, eggs, and bacon). The cinnamon chip pancakes are amazing and the smell of the cinnamon reminds me of fall. If you sign up for their newsletter on email, they will send you a buy one get one free coupon, so I would definitely say it's worth trying if you've never been! I rated a 4 because the prices are a little high. The traditional breakfast is 9$, and the cinnamon chip pancakes are 10$, so with coffee or a beverage other than water and a tip, it can be a little pricey to go all the time.
