Portillo's have two locations in Chicago. It is a characteristic restaurant place with furnitures, tables etc. that take you back to the fifties. Several sub-restaurants serve hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and cakes. You can order whatever you wish and then go seat at your table or go away and eat where you prefer.
Been there twice now. Everyone has been overly impressed with the service and food.
I really like this restaurant. I have gone here multiple times and ordered different things and have never been disappointed. I also love the décor. There is something on the menu for everyone.
One thing...THE CHOCOLATE CAKE IS PHENOMENOL!!!!!! (especially warm)
We called in a resy for 615pm and we were sat at 630. Which isn't bad considering the lobby was full. Our server was very nice. I could tell she was busy but stayed attentive to our table. Our food was amazing. I do feel the portions were smaller that previous visit.
We had a wonderful Mother's Day dinner at Claim Jumpers!
Every worker we came in contact with was happy and friendly (not the norm sometimes)
Super eager to please and courteous.
Fodd was beautifully plated and great menu offerings. We were told Sunday Brunch's are starting up again, so will be back to check that out.
Only negative was my coleslaw. Very bland.

I really enjoyed my meal and will be back. This wasn't my first time here but I haven't been in years. The menu has been updated but it still has some of my old favorites on the menu like the Fish in Chips. This time we had Mai Tai's,.Spinach Dip, and the BBQ Chicken Salad. Everything from the drinks to the chips that were served with the artichoke dip was SOOOO good!! The spinach dip was creamy, the Mai Tai was strong, the BBQ Chicken Salad has the best salad dressing.
Nice restaurant for dinner. The lobster roll and steak and shrimp dinner were tasty..although the lobster sandwich could have had more meat. Combo appetizer was plenty of food for sharing. The sauces were tasty.
Wow. Went there for a birthday brunch. My party and I were seated promptly and greeted by a warm waitress. The buffet was delish (my personal favorites were the omelette bar and the chicken tenders). I thought that the bottomless mimosas for $5 was a STEAL! The brunch had a variety of items to taste. It was such a gift to have such a nice brunch here for my birthday. I will definitely be returning!
The food was delicious. Our server Bradley was awesome...didn't harass us and brought a refill of my Arnold Palmer without having to ask. The first plate is mine...for the price it could've had a little more shrimp, that would be my only complaint.
First time here. Great service! Food to price ratio is fantastic!!! Ordered the oven fired calzone with sausage & mushrooms, and could only eat half. Amazing flavor. Definitely coming back for the chicken pot pie. The family also enjoyed the "pecan butter cake" and "chocolate obsession." We also had to celebrate a birthday!
Vegas doesn't owe me a thing! This is what breakfast is like at Claim Jumper inside the Golden Nugget hotel. Hunny! When I tell you the food was outstanding, I mean it hunny. I wasn't expecting this much french toast for a large order, but I damn sure tried to eat it all. My husband's omelet was very good too cause y'all know how we like to eat off our husband's plates. But go on out there to Vegas and see for yourself.
Went here for lunch while in town. I would truthfully give it a 3.5 but they only let you give whole numbers. Seemed like they were having a hard time keeping up with the tables. Several weren't clean. Dirty dishes when we got there and when we left. Food took a while to come and my clam chowder wasn't hot even though they said it was late bc it was being replaced.
Regardless, the food was tasty. The beef dip was thick cut steak, lots of cheese on a good bun with great au jus. Loved the fries. The clam chowder was tasty but like warm.
Friendly staff but seem like they were a bit behind on things.
First time on mother's Day everything was good the waitress was nice kept coming by asking how we doing need anything the drinks👍 on point will be back😊
