Yeah this is some quality French. I passed by this spot too many times and I’m sorry it took so long. We got the steak & fries & some French onion soup. Food came out quick. The mayo & ketchup tasted like they make it in the back. The steak we got medium but it was a French medium which was a lil rare which is how I like it. Totally going back. Thanks tournesol !

Hadn't been here in probably 6 years, and I'm happy to report they haven't lost their touch. Henri is a true restaurateur and host. Not sure if he's the proprietor, but he was definitely in charge of delivering a delightful experience.
The whole experience was absolutely phenomenal. I went for lunch and enjoyed every bite. Great comfort food. Super nice and attentive staff. I can’t wait to return for dinner!
Got a dinner here just because we were around. The food was fresh and full of flavor. Absolutely amazing. We tried the duck, beef pasta and salmon tartar. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend it!
Cafe Henri across the street is overrun. I like this place better. Don’t come here, I want it to remain consistently good. Go across the street, leave this for me ;)
Small and cozy - very Parisian style restaurant with th great food. Highly recommend everyone to check it out. Its a family restaurant and you can tell that by their service! I will definitely come back again.
We tried goat cheese salad, skate and steak. They were all great.
Great spot for an intimate dinner date night. We got the Skate which was very delicious. Duck was great too. House wine was as always in a French restaurant excellent.
Ambience is romantic, cozy, very authentic though Parisian-like.
The dessert is also delicious, profiteroles similar to Paris.
We had never been to that area before but it’s right off the train stop which is nice.
Completely enjoyed a Sunday brunch here.
The food was great. Very well priced. The wait staff were very attentive and was not rushed. Definitely a go back to place.
Believe all the other positive reviews. Wonderful food and service. You'll be warmly greeted when you walk in. The Beef Bourguignon was great as was the Skate dish which two of us had and we were pleased at dessert time that they had Floating Islands (ile flottante) on the menu. It's a classic cozy French restaurant. You'll feel like you're in Paris and another plus it's quiet enough to actually talk to one another a wonderful French custom in their restaurants which we always appreciate when we go there. Another thing I'll never forget is two of us ordered martinis and the host actually brought two separate shakers to our table and shook them up in front of us and poured delightfully perfect martinis!! Thank you Tournesol for a great evening! Plus it's literally steps away from the 7 train so it's an easy trip from Manhattan. Please note they only accept cash and Amex.
From the flavours to the presentation, the food here really made me believe I was back in Paris. The desserts in particular were exquisite. Their Monday-Wednesday weeknight prix fixe menu is great value at $32 for an app, a main, and a dessert. Note that they only accept Amex or cash.
