I had recently ordered in from Sweet Chick and I have a few thoughts I thought I should share, first of all, the food here is amazing, the chicken is perfectly fried, and the sauces have the perfect balance of both sweet and spicy. I had gotten the loaded fries as well as a chicken sandwich. The loaded fries are not a threat to be taken lightly. These fries should be considered a meal on their own. These loaded fries have fries, chicken, cheesy, pickles, and a crazy amount of sauce. It was delicious, however, after finishing, you feel absolutely horrible. In my experience my stomach would not stop cramping for several hours, this is mainly due to my inability to stop eating, and the sheer amount of their hotsauce I added. However, once you try a bite, you too will understand. I would 100% do it again, this was a meal I would not forget. I also had a fried chicken sandwich. This sandwich was better than that of Chick-fil-A, Popyees, KFC, and the Boston Market. However, I would still much rather prefer the loaded fries. The loaded fries simply give you a better bang for your buck. Overall, I would 100% recommend going to Sweet Chick at least once in your life, just beware of the aftereffects.
Nice little restaurant (Nas owns it) reminds me of a dinner from 1960s. Cute. We got the chicken with waffles and added Mac and cheese on the side. Order Wallace drinks. Drinks are strong. They have pick up and take out service. Happy hour after 4 till 6. Serving staff friendly. We went around 2:30 pm afternoon on a Thursday not crowded.
I’ve been to Sweet Chick a few times, and it’s always a treat. You can get all kinds of different chicken and waffle flavor combos. Anything from a red velvet waffle, to salted caramel fried chicken.
Definitely experiment, try something new, and get a side of potato salad for sure.
Really high quality dining experience with an impressive condiment selection. The chicken was just decent and not very spicy. Would go back if I'm hankering for some comfort food but it's not the best chicken I've ever eaten.

I don’t know how to properly emphasize the deliciousness of Sweet Chick without resorting to hyperbole. Easily the best chicken and waffles I’ve had in NYC. Perfectly crispy chicken with phenomenal flavor, waffles so soft you’ll want to lay them out and take a nap on them, and an assortment of fantastic cocktails in case the chicken and waffles don’t loosen you up on their own. Come to think of it the portions are super filling too so you may actually want a nap afterward… maybe plan ahead.
Very happy I ate here tonight. I've passed this place so many times at work, but I didn't want to get chicken and waffles to go.
The bartender greeted us upon entry and told us to sit wherever we wanted. The menu, ordering, and payment is a QR code on the table. Great idea and worked well since we all paid for ourselves.
I went with the honey garlic chicken with original waffles and a side of cheese grits. I was absolutely blown away by everything. The food came out hot and quick. The chicken was extra crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The waffles had a slight crisp to them and the 2 kinds of butter topped them nicely. The grits were so thick from butter and cheese, and had such a hearty flavor.
Worth every penny and then some. 👌
We (a party of 5) waited for about a half an hour for a table and once we were seated, we ordered online and our food came out within minutes. The food was good, but the overall atmosphere was tight and cramped. If you go, go with less than a group of 5. The food would make me come back though.

The menu is quite simple. My Favorite is the Chicken 🍗 & Waffles 🧇 with a shot of Hennessy 🥃
I usually stop in here whenever I get the chance which is roughly about. I’d like to say once every two months. Well today I had the sweet chili sandwich and the 10 to 1 mango slushy. The food was amazing. The drink was to perfection. And to top things off there is a absolutely gorgeous bartender in there who not only has one of the best smiles I’ve ever seen but she really knows her stuff and is very polite. I’m actually looking forward to coming in again because with her in there the atmosphere is amazing as well as the food!
