Great service. Waiters frequently checked on us and refilled our drinks. Everyone one was super friendly. We went around noon on a Saturday and it was empty. It started getting crowded around 2pm
We went to the location in downtown LA on 9th street. Absolutely delicious food, big portions. EVERYTHING was delicious. Excellent service with friendly staff. Very clean and cute. I highly recommend this restaurant and intend to eat there every time I have to go to downtown.
Great place for gathering and enjoy the Argentina dishes together. The lunch special really worth it. 6oz NY steak is served with a large plate of baby green salad underside. The Empanada are crispy and juicy enough while the steak may not be as thick as I thought.

First-The location is great. A pretty decent size restaurant that was really cozy and just overall a great vibe. The seating was spacious and clean. There was room for larger parties and smaller. Overall I thought it was perfect size and I enjoyed every second of it. And the best part was the pricing on everything is very generous for how good the food is. The best meal I’ve had in LA so far!
Second. The food… it was great from the bread and chimichurri? Sauce was phenomenal! We started off with the Shrimp Patagonia and it was delicious. I dipped some of the chimichurri sauce on them it was so good. I had the 12oz New York strip with fries and my fiancé had the ravioli. My steak was cooked perfect and the fries were good! Filling! I enjoyed the steak a lot. Had a pretty good margarita with it. My fiancés raviolis were a pretty big portion and looked great. For dessert we split the chocolate mousse cake and it was unreal! Everything was beyond good and I’ll definitely be back!
This was a surprisingly great find!! Food was really good and service was super attentive and on top of things. Concerning food everything we ordered was really good!
For Appetizers we got the 4 Empanadas (2 Beef & 2 Chicken) as well as the Shrimp Patagonia (skillet of sauteed shrimp in olive oil, butter, parsley & garlic)
For Main Course we got the Lomo Lala's but customized it. I like that we were able to do that so easily. Also got the Raviolis De Langosta which was my favorite of the night. It was ravioli stuffed with lobster meat in a cream sauce
For Desert we got the chocolate mousse cake and some kind of dulce de leche which sadly I don't remember the name but it was excellent
Would highly recommend Lala's on Melrose! Will definitely be back
We had our anniversary celebration at this restaurant which we planned to visit before Covid. We chose the outdoor sitting which is nice even in November. The food is sooooooo good, the appetizers like chorizo sausage, cake and puff are very delicious for sharing. The main dishes are huge!! Very filling and delicious! Of course, the waitress was super friendly and nice. We had the fun time at this place. Definitely will come back soon.

Had a nice lunch here on a Monday afternoon. The place was quite busy (but not overcrowded) inside and out. We got our seats rather quickly without a reservation.
Patience is a good thing to have as the staff were working hard to attend to a hefty amount of diners.
I settled on the NY Steak lunch which is a fantastic value especially in LA. Special came with a side of crispy, skinny fries and a salad (to which I should have opted for the mash potatoes but decided to go healthy.) Steak nicely cooked medium rare with a pinch of salt. Had a refreshing ice tea which the waiters refilled without me having to ask.
Be aware of the $10 parking fee (properly shown on the sign) in the back even when the valet isn't present. Otherwise good luck finding parking on the neighborhood streets.
Will definitely come back for happy hour with friends or a lunch date.
We were seated right away. The food prices were affordable and delicious! It’s a filling meal and I love their bread! The service was very attentive and genuine. Thank you for a great experience! Definitely coming back. :)
We just arrived at Lala’s restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, especially outside. The team has received us with a big welcome where we are just a new to the site. They are very polite.
We ordered Entanara medium well and another Entanara well done.
The meat was freshly grilled perfectly to match our expectations.
With these prices in LA, I couldn't be grateful enough that we went there.
I like it so much and definitely; I will come back again and again.
Everything was great especially service. I took off one star because they didn't add salt but you can always add it yourself. Very prompt service and clean presentation.
Even the kids nuggets where delicious.
