Yes you can try their flavors there. That’s why the line is slow. But of course, don’t hold up the line by trying EVERY flavor. Their flavors are all great!

They do have seating indoors and outdoors but could fill up quick.
Salt and straw has the best ice cream ever! They also offer seasonal ice cream’s which are awesome. Don’t be shy to ask for samples, my boy Keenan has got you! Ice cream is incomparable will be back ASAP! Yeah I got some kind of pecan ice cream, It is from the Christmas seasonal selection .
The holiday flavor Gingerbread Cookie Dough was incredible and fitting for a beautiful fall day. We opted for the waffle cup for easy transportation. Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon and we were able to try different flavors. The staff was very kind.
Lovely place and friendly service. Tried a few flavours and settled for sea salt with caramel ribbons and chocolate chips dough. Both flavours were really good but I liked the chocolate chips more.

Delicious ice cream, with generous portions. And I love that they let you taste the ice cream using metal spoons instead of something single use.
What a cute ice cream shop in the Art District! The layout of the store is so beautiful, they not only sell artisan ice cream but also really nice merch (denim hats and tote bags).
I highly recommend the honey lavender scoop in a waffle cup. It’s not too sweet and the lavender flavour is very settle. There are many different unique flavours, I definitely will be back to try the other flavours when I pay a visit to LA next time!
Delicious ice cream! Definitely some generous serving size as well. Loved trying all the special flavors and landed on the cinnamon snickerdoodle and one of the Halloween flavors. Quick and efficient service!
Came for the ice cream and found cream in my ice plus this guy named Arvin was celebrating his 35th birthday and he said all he wanted was salt & straw for his b day so I purchased 7 scoops for him
