Attended brunch on Saturday and it was enjoyable. Great service and good food. My salad was yummy wanted more of a blue cheese flavor that was minimized because they mix a cherry vinaigrette which was not indicated on the menu. They serve one of my favorite ciders, Crispin, what a pleasant surprise. They don't serve sangria either 🙁🙁.
Fast friendly service. Very clean. The men's room even has a grate under the urinal so that the sprayers don't mess up the place.
The dueling dips with chips were tastey, especially the pimento cheese. The chips were crispy. The cocktails were good. A little heavy in the ice.
The Jimmys famous burger was delicious with the jalapeño jam. The bun could have been a little better so it could hold together better. Pastrami sandwich was great. The slaw and dressing were nice and it had just a little bit spice. Mac and cheese was a,little gummy on the pasta but good overall.
The "Old School" dessert was awesome. The cookies were nice and soft and the fudge was delicious. And the vanilla had a wonderful flavor.
So far this is my favorite restaurant at The Village.
We entered this restaurant completely unplanned during our visit to the Village. The interiors are great! Service is good and friendly. We started with our soup orders of Clam Chowder and Tomato & Basil soup. They were very good, with the Clam chowder delivering that amazing combination of creaminess and rich taste. My wife loved the tomato and basil soup, which was surprisingly pretty thick and tangy !! My son ordered the spicy California burger and this where I took off 1 star for the clumsy presentation. Don't get me wrong..it tasted awesome but the burger itself was pretty messy and there was no decent way to finish that without getting your hands dirty. I went with the Flat bread with apricot and fig jam with proscuito and arugula on top. It was very well done and tasted amazing. My wife went with onion rings and she loved it !!
Definitely will visit again !!
Great food! I tried 5 different plates and they were all outstanding. Sauces are great.
Another lunch while in town. Had the Cowboy burger. 1/2lb Wagyu beef, bacon, cheddar, onion ring, green chile covered in BBQ sauce. Burger was cooked to my choosing, which was medium. How every good burger should be cooked!
Great food ! I had the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken sandwich with fries for $17 and it did not disappoint. The only reason I knock off one star is bc of service. My waiter was not very nice she seemed annoyed from the start and didn't check on our table until it was time to collect the receipt. Other than that ! Food portions were fairly big and it was a great place to have a nice lunch with friends or family.
Pretty good vegan burger, call The Impossible Burger, it's plant-based very realistic, delicious. Onion rings were so so, draft beer selection is good
Delicious--they are amazing at sandwiches, burgers, salads, and drinks! Plus if you get here before 12pm on weekends... They have a deal on Bloodys and Mimosas!
Attended with 12 people on a Wednesday evening, restaurant easily accommodated us all sitting together. Always recommend calling ahead though. Had the Tavern Bowl with seared ahi and an egg, very good.
Great place to go for a nice, yet casual, meal. The food has been great both times I've been so far. First time, I experienced the Impossible Burger with coleslaw (didn't care for that side) and whiskey shrimp appetizer. Tonight I had the ahi burger and grilled cheese appetizer. Service is always great and the choice is friendly and hip for all ages. Prices are pretty comparable.
