Adorable cafe in Silverlake - the interior was cute with nice framed pictures on the wall, good seating, indoor and outdoor, and the service was good. There’s a free water station but the water tasted like tap water and it didn’t taste as appetizing, they have a limited gluten free menu but I tried the arugula peach salad and my friend had their nachos dish (forgot what it’s called but it’s also GF) and it was okay. The salad was good but it was a salad; not mind blowing by any means but healthy and light. It’s a typical coffee / cafe shop and fun to stop by if you’re visiting in the area!!
Love the vibe, coffee and pastries here, but it is PRICEY! Be prepared to pay $9.00 for a large flavored iced latte with milk substitute PLUS 7.5% surcharge (for staff wages and benefits) added on top of that! Ouch. Pastries are around $5.00 each and they are worth trying! I personally recommend blueberry pistachio pastry.
They have a private free parking lot in the back as well as plenty of free street parking available. Huge outdoor patio seating area with a lot of shade.
Dog friendly cafe.
Breakfast sandwich is SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! We come here every two weeks and only order the breakfast sandwich with sausage, it is amazing!!!!
Delightful! From the cheerful greeting at the counter to the excellent service at the tables- this is a special find. Let’s talk about the pastry choices and the food items! Wow! I was lucky enough to get the last meyer lemon raspberry scone and it was amazing. It was so light and airy but jam packed with flavor. The place is bustling non-stop most likely because the pastries are phenomenal. After my delicious scone, I ordered a signature dish of eggs and a green salad. I also ordered the potatoes which were incredible. My daughter had the French toast which was also
Light and airy. Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. Even the coffee was smooth! This is a must visit when in Silver Lake- or just take as rice there and spend the day in town!
The cortado was excellent. Be sure to try the cinnamon and citrus pastry. Lovely outdoor seating area.
Super cute coffee shop with giant tables and big comfy chairs perfect for getting work done. They have an excellent assortment of baked goods and coffees. I only took one star off because they didn't have any decaf coffee and I ordered a decaf espresso, which they gave me cold. Otherwise, I loved the vibes and food here!
Grabbed two single origin coffees and two pastries to go. The cashier was very nice and had good recs. There was no clear area to wait for the order and I felt in the way of either workers or customers (it was crowded - every table full). The cafe is gorgeous and very clean. If you're into specialty coffee, this is the place to go. You could absolutely tell the difference between the coffees we ordered - it was really cool. Our muffin was good, but the bread pudding lacked a distinct flavour. I personally thought it was a bit expensive and would favor another cafe due to prices, but this is nice for a unique treat!
Dog friendly, great pastries/food, and drinks! Great place to grab a bite to eat in the morning. It’s a little on the pricey side, but still a neighborhood favorite.
Definitely some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. The Location is also very pleasant and with inside and outside street seating theres no way you won't a enjoy your coffee. The pastry selection is pretty awesome. You also have a pretty good selection from the breakfast and lunch menus. A must place to visit.
I was staying in Silverlake and stopped here for coffee and cake while out on my bike. I loved it so much I went back the next day, and when I got home I started a subscription of the Velvet blend!
