Great Ethiopian food! Highly recommend! Will go back there soon!
Been coming here since I was a kiddo! Great food and ambience!
The food is flavorful and leaves your taste buds wanting more. They have a Vegan Goodness plate that is filling. I would recommend adding an order of Sambosas. The service was good, but the parking is limited. You got to jump on the first opening you find, even if the restaurant is half a block away.
This is my absolute FAVORITE Ethiopian restaurant!!! I've been coming here for years and have had Ethiopian food in mant different cities (DC, SF, NY Atlanta) and this remains my favorite one. I highly recommend.
Such a fun experience. We got the emperor, and as two hungry people this was plenty (and we had leftovers). Such a perfect way to sample a new cuisine! We enjoyed every single item. Especially the lamb stew! A must try.
Something totally different, new flavors, eating with the hands, really tasty!! It was totally another experience. I enjoyed it so much :)
Great flavor, slow service. Large restaurant. We ordered the vegan platter, with the lamb stew. The flavor of the stew, and quality of the lamb was great. I often find the meat is so fatty, but not here. However, I just think the portions were very small with the veggie dishes. For $20, there’s a lot of competition in little Ethiopia and the portions were the smallest I’ve seen.
We’ve been there pre Covid and it was very good. Really worried this restaurant couldn’t make it during Covid. And we are so glad it’s still open and serves very nice food. They have outdoor seating under patio. The menu is big enough and there are many options, you can choose meat/protein, vegan, sampler plate or signature dishes. The food is incredibly delicious and big. The Ethiopian flat bread is so unique and tasty. We couldn’t stop eating it. We had the appetizer and two main entrees. And it’s absolutely enough for two people. You should try the lamb stew. Perfectly good. The service is flawless. We definitely will visit there again.
Tasty vegan options. Love their Vegan Goodness platter and veggie Sambusa. The waitress was very nice, attentive and the food was delicious as always. They offer a couple parking spots in the back alley, though there is plenty of street parking as well.
Lovely outdoor seating. The food was tasty and filling. As you can see lots of bread offered, it's called injera and it's very tasty. A bit pricey compare to other Ethiopian places though. I have to mention there’s like 10 different Ethiopian restaurants in the same street.
This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I loved it! My partner and I got the vegan goodness combo (which comes with collard greens, green beans, and lentils) and one beef dish. It was the perfect shareable portion. The Injera was super tasty and had a nice yeasty sourdough flavor that paired nicely with the meat and veggies. I loved how aromatic, spicy, and tangy the food was. Lots of amazing and bold flavors.
Comfortable spacious air conditioned. Lovely wall murals and rattan umbrellas overhead...Vegan Goodness!! My colleague ordered the fish...it came whole.... fried... with veggies...and it was all pronounced delicious. Metered parking on street. Summon your car karma. Grateful we could discuss business over lunch for two hours without being rushed out. The injera is perfect and you get an extra platedul of thus Ethiopian bread ...nicely portioned, folded and rolled.
