You'd never think to look behind this tiny market in Highland Park and to find incredible sandwiches, but here you go. That Red Dragon cheese, man. My #1 favorite sandwich place in all of LA.

I live 2 doors down so I end up wandering into La Tropicana at least once a day and often end up at the Deli as well. The food is so good and so reasonable it gives me way too many reasons not to cook at all! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I'm partial to their burgers on brioche buns and the vegetarian sandwiches.
