The service in this place was superb!!! The waitress was very attentive. It’s family friendly. Tables were situated widely apart from each other so you don’t have to worry so much with the current pandemic dining out here. The rolls were warm, soft and fluffy with whipped butter. The steak was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. They also serve house-made strawberry vinegar dressing to go with salad or the crab cakes.
Very nice restaurant in a very small town. 1 side is a restaurant and the other is a bar with pool tables. We had a large group - about 20 - lots of food and beverages and all handled by 1 waiter. Menu has many options - steak, seafood, salads, etc. Timely service, beverages topped off regularly and food was fantastic. If you are ever passing through Madisonville, take a detour and visit this place!!!
Awesome, awesome food. We didn't have one item that we didn't love!! The staff were so nice, and friendly! Ask for Farrah, she'll take great care of you!!! The timing was great as well.
We were passing though town on our way home. My husband read the reviews and we knew we needed to stop. The food and service was amazing. Next time we’re staying at this amazing B&B up the road and going Saturday night for live music. Can’t wait to return.
Friendly staff and lots of space. The wait staff gets their exercise! Cold beer and tasty homemade rolls were a good start. Had to try the chicken fried steak and chicken ~ breading was just-right crunchy and not too much but light on seasoning and gravy. Hubby liked his fried okra. Wish they had chicken and waffles on their large menu because our table neighbor’s chicken strips looked so good. We’ll definitely be back!
Found on our way from Houston to Dallas thanks to the reviews. It did not disappoint! Husband and I both agreed that it was one of the best ribeyes we had ever had. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, tender with a fantastic char on the outside. Hope we come through here again, worth going out of the way! Service was good and the restaurant was very clean. Very friendly staff all around!
Came with friends from out of town; we'd meet up at the drop zone and wanted to eat. Legends was recommended and frankly, I am so glad!
Small town steakhouses can be hit or miss. Legends was a definite hit! The service was excellent, the drinks were fast and the salad had real blue cheese. ♥️ But the steak... That steak was freaking amazing. 😋
I had the 6oz to sirloin, medium rare. No pics because I was in company, but it was cooked perfectly, looked beautiful and was so tender and juicy. Savored every bite with no steak sauce. The fried okra was good but hey - it's a side. I imagine they have an awesome baked potato but sadly, no one ordered one. 🤷🏻♀️
Next time in heading to Houston from Dallas, I'm going to hit up Legends again. Maybe even try the potato! 🥔
Stopped by for dinner before heading to Houston. Great service. Homely-spacious feel. Food was delicious! Wait wasn’t long. I dislike chains and big brands anyways. Was greeted on way out too. Ty Legends and staff!
