Delightful little hole in the wall joint with huge portions of good food, and a wonderful mix of Italian Opera, Frank Sinatra, and modern italian artists playing in the background. Would recommend.

A truly magnificent Italian restaurant, surprisingly set in a small, East Texas town.
The store front, in a strip mall, draws the attention with the hand-crafted care which sets it apart from the neighboring Mexican restaurant in that it demonstrates that the proprietors care.
Inside, again, a bit rustic, but clearly family operated, and the family took the time and care to decorate with love.
The service is superb and by a member of the family, and their attention to detail and concern for the customer is superb.
As to the food...
Sublime. Exquisite.
The bread is freshly baked.
The marinara is homemade.
The meat is perfectly spiced and cooked.
I was speechless as I ate every bite, and I ordered a calzone and a Stromboli to-go to share with my girlfriend when I returned to Austin.
This restaurant is so good my girlfriend and I may travel an hour and a half to shop at local antique stores and eat here.
One of the highest compliments I can pay this restaurant is that it would prosper in Austin.
Finally, the prices are so low that I bought extra, and when I eat there again (and I will) I will buy as much as I can take with me to store and eat at home.
A shockingly great restaurant in a small-town in East Texas.
On my way to Dallas and I see the excellent reviews about this place and I decide to choose here to stop and eat. Absolutely delicious food. I personally got the meatball parmigiana sub and I cant even explain how good it is. They give you really fresh rolls complimentary, and the place is so neat and clean. I love the soft Italian music in the background to! I will definitely stop here again if I travel back and forth this way.
We had our family Christmas get together at Luigi's and was extremely happy with EVERYTHING. The portions are huge, the food was delicious & the service was great! Ida was an incredible waitress♡
Good spaghetti. Great pizza! Definitely a good addition to Madisonville.
The place had only been open for a few days when we visited, but the place was already humming like a well oiled machine. The staff was friendly and seated us quickly. The menu items have lots of Italian words in the names, so I can't remember the name of what I ate, but it was very good and best of all, authentic. The prices are reasonable for good Italian food. Overall we had a great dining experience and I can't wait to visit again.
