I love this place. I go there every chance I get. The fried shrimp and oysters are my go to however, the last time I went I ordered the crabcakes over pasta and my husband got the Stuffed bellpepper. It was amazing. Also they always have great sweet tea.

Born and Raised in New Orleans and for my money Crabby Shack was Great. The fried shrimp and Oysters were cooked to perfection. service Great. And the Banana pudding WOW!!! Can't understand how anyone with a New Orleans Taste Bud could be Negative. I guess these folks must like the Red Lobster and Capt D's fish and Chips
Great seafood and salads!. I can't believe there are so many negative reviews of this place. I love it and I'm picky! I love the fried crab claws and fried shrimp. The fried seafood is great, but they have lighter options too. I love the salad with grilled shrimp and the grilled speckled trout. Also, the stuffed shrimp are wonderful. Some of the grilled fish comes with cream sauce but just ask them to leave it off or on the side. Also, ask if they will go easy on butter/oil and heavy on spices. I've done that and they were so accommodating.
Yum. Great food and great service. My husband and I have made a weekly visit since we moved here and always have excellent service and excellent food. The crawfish chowder is the best!
Typical seafood spot.... I have been to Crabby Shack three times...usually on a whim. The atmosphere is neighborhood, food is average, and we always had great service. I did not know that they close a 8:00...hmmm. Asked for fried sot-shell crab three times...never available. Oh well....regardless, glad there is a spot in the old Coffee's building.

Hint- be there before 8, yep even on a Saturday night. They lock it up 8pm sharp
