Fabulous restaurant - our favorite on the Northshore. Service is also terrific ! We have introduced many of our friends to this favorite spot !

So if you liked it last year you will like it this year. Always consistent very good very fresh. For all the whiners complaining about not enough spice go eat somewhere spicy.
It's a pleasant change to go somewhere that keeps it simple and let's the flavor of fresh ingredients come thru with a simple
Beurre Blanc. Biggest issue is it's getting more and more popular.
A gem of the Northshore with such a beautiful venue. Great views of the Tchefuncte River. Chef(s) Tony and Jason Monroe do a great job of consistently delivering fresh delicious food every time I visit. Highly recommend!
Wonderful brunch. Water Street Bistro NEVER disappoints. We ended up at the bar for brunch one morning, and the service was as perfect as if we were at a table. They offered $2.00 Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's...not sure if this is a regular thing. The pate plate is rather large.//Mmmmm... The service is was top notch.
Always consistently good! Best seafood gumbo and softshell crabs on Northshore, maybe best in metro area
Bring Salt and Pepper. There were four of us and all the food was fresh and well prepared although on the bland side. We started with and shared the Blue Cheese Salad and Crab Claws. Both were good, but the salad could use a little more dressing and the crab claws themselves were fantasic, but the sauce was not very memorable. We both had the paneed veal. My wife had it with marinara sauce and mine came in a lemon and butter sauce. Again, not very memorable and when you're in this price category, you have higher expectations. They are certainly not a Cafe Lynn or a Sal and Judy's by any stretch.

I love wsb! Sitting on the porch, overlooking the beautiful Tchefuncte River. Makes your dining exp all that much better. Great food, wine and staff.
Simple and enjoyable. Will be back soon. Shrimp Chardonnay was excellent and the duck was top notch.
One of the best places I've been!. I'll agree with the previous poster, Mike. Easily as good as Sal & Judy's but with a beautiful view and wonderfully creative dishes that make you want to go back to try the next one at your first chance. The servers are excellent and we're greeted by name by our favorites. Truly a must try!

What an amazing little gem in downtown madisonville. This is the type of restaurant you look for and hardly ever find. The service was amazing. The food was unbelievable! The red snapper with crab meat and salmon with artichoke and spinach was absolutely delicious. If you want a fabulous meal please go support this local restaurant.
Brunch on the porch was wonderful! The service was superb! I loved the French toast and my friend had the Cajun Benedict and really enjoyed it. They took extra efforts to accommodate my allergy and I had no issues. Thank you for a wonderful morning!
Loved our experience here! Service was excellent and food was delicious. It was so lovely to sit outside and watch the boats go down the river. We will be back!
This is the best kept secret on the northshore. Food is amazing.
We love it! Great ladies lunch spot, special date spot. I go for my anniversary. All food is made to your order and there are so many fresh veggies. The shrimp &grits wins every time♥️
So wonderful in every way! View, service, food, all perfect. The bread was so crunchy on the outside, we videoed ourselves tearing off pieces. Great gumbo, awesome shrimp and grits. One of the best meals I've had in Louisiana, truly.
