Daw Kun Thai Manchester

This is the true cuisine of Thailand. Don't come in here expecting Americanized Asian foods nor the portions that these types serve out. This is an establishment for the person(s) who wish to experience what true Thai cuisine is all about. This is all about fresh, made-from-scratch creations that can be ordered. If you have food allergies like gluten, they have a great assortment of GF options. You just need to let them know at the time of ordering. If you want something special to be added to a particular dish, they are very flexible. You just need to let them know at the time of ordering. If you have never experienced this type of cuisine, they will gladly guide you through the menu by asking certain questions pertaining to if you have allergies, what level of heat you would like (level 1 mild, 2, level 3 typical Thai, 4, level 5 MY kind of Thai) and other options available either as a replacement or for a nominal mark-up. My husband was able to have something enjoyable from Daw Kun that had no heat at all from the Beef with brown sauce, side of rice and house soup. That is his absolute favorite there. I prefer the heat, spice and different levels of flavors that true Thai cuisine offers. This is not a fast-food establishment so you will not be in and out in 30 minutes. This is a place that absolutely perfected the art of bringing Thai cuisine here to Manchester and has done well and with such finesse. Kob-khun ka!

We love coming here! They are a relatively new restaurant, and they are building a loyal clientele fast. We have been coming back frequently, to try a different dish. I can't tell you my favorite, negates each time I get something different, and each dish has been exemplary! The dishes are Authentic, delicious, and fresh. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If you like Thai, give Daw Kun a try.
