We ate here on our Honeymoon in the Keys 30 years ago. We returned 7 years ago. And again last night. The Cracked Conch Sandwich is exactly the same! We drove 3 hours each way just to relive our Honeymoon experience Delicious! Conch are still hammered by hand in the kitchen then fried to perfection and served on a soft toasted bun. The new owners will be updating the restaurant in 2 weeks but will retain the recipes and casual atmosphere. The Conch is twice as big as the bun! A Keys tradition along with Key Lime pie.

My wife and I split the conch franchise and the conch ceviche appetizer for dinner, along with onion rings which were exceptional onion rings. Wow, the conch franchise really was something unique and delicious. The sauce was like a hollandaise sauce without egg yolk and it was great. The kids had pizza which was of a surprisingly good quality. When I first saw the menu, I thought that it was too extensive for them to actually make all of those dishes well, but I was wrong. It was all fantastic. I'd make a point to come back again next time I'm nearby or driving through.

Our waitress was very outgoing and friendly with a great sense of humor. Our party of 9 ordered mostly sweet tea and she knew instantly we are southerners. My group ordered a ton of food, our first time there, very delicious. My favorite was the dish with the mussels and conch and mushrooms in the white sauce. Very delicious. Loved all of the food, we definitely have left overs for tonight.
