I asked for beef tips and scallops without seasoning due to my health and was not given any grief,but rather a very friendly understanding and my lunch was cooked to perfection. This is my 5th visit and both service and quality of food are top notch. Very cozy restaurant, nice variety on menu, restrooms are very clean, good drinks, friendly attentive staff. What else could you ask for? Thanks!

We stopped there after the place we,were going to the wait was too long. We drove to Nicks to check it out,as many years ago my fiance said he went there when he,was a little boy with his parents every weekend for dinner. So,we ordered and the food was delicious,atmosphere casual with music to boot which was excellent. I had the best darn Creme Brulee I have ever had(We shared it,wish we hadn't), and I have had quite a few as it is one of my fav.desserts. 2 thumbs up. ;)
I used to go to this bar many many years ago when it was called the colonial inn. When one of my best friends and I went in a couple of nights ago the place is totally remodeled very beautiful they had a woman singing and a man playing guitar and it was just a really nice setting to be able to sit and talk to
Great place, food was outstanding, interior is comfy and inviting. We got Mozzarella sticks, Flatbread pizza, a burger, fries, and a dessert, all were excellent. The chips that came with the burger were rustic and seemed homemade, but weren't as crunchy as you might hope. The size and quality of the burger more than made up for it! Impressed that they're already this good after only being open for a few months, but they're already on the way to being a marietta staple.
I wanted a space to get my family and bridal party together to kick off our wedding festivities and try on my dress for everyone! Brandi was so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process of planning and picking out food for the meal. The cheesesteaks, pickle chips, queso, and soft pretzels were amazing. and the FRIES, omg, the best I have had in some time.I definitely recommend Marietta Tavern and Brandi for your larger parties and gatherings. Couldn't ask for a better event and a better owner/host/server to tend to us throughout the evening.
I wanted to leave a 5 star review. Wings ( hot ), flatbread ( mozzarella ) and steak quesadilla were all 5/5. We didn't drink and sat at a table. Lots of the original features were still on display including the fireplace. Only issue is no menu or
Pricing anywhere online including the website/facebook. Also kitchen closes quite early, would be nice if it said that anywhere
Across the board everything was awesome. They had a DJ that night who played lots of great songs and wasn't overpowering. Could listen to the music as well as have a conversation. Bartender did a fantastic job. Food was good and reasonably priced and the local patrons were very friendly. When we visit again we're definitely going back there.
Service, people and food were all great! I'm in town for work and wanted to sit at a bar and enjoy my evening. I got just that with Marietta Tavern. It happened to be trivia night and while I usually wouldn't play they friendly game host talked me into it. I'm glad I played it was fun and gave me something to do rather than stare at my phone. Food was good and bartender was very friendly. I will definitely be back if in town again.
Food was great. We stop by for a beer and a bite along our hike on the riverfront trail.
Our family recently spent a evening together enjoying taco Tuesday with our favorite Waitress. The atmosphere was fun. The food was food. The service was excellent as usual. We will definitely be back soon. Nan & Denise enjoyed a quick photo!
We went to Marietta Tavern on Valentines Day with a party of 4. Our waiter was excellent and so was the food. This was formerly Nick's Bistro.We liked Nicks but the new owners have really done a great job. The Happy Hour is AWESOME and nightly specials are great as well. We will be back!
The new owners have taken it a few steps forward with the menu and decor. A few more steps forward with experienced staff would help. We enjoyed it before, and like it better now under the current changes.
