This place does not ever cease to disappoint. New ownership has taken over this little BBQ gem located in Marina Del Rey which was previously known as Benny's BBQ. Since the original owner passed, the new owners gave brought in their own Recipes and sauces to give you a genuine Texas BBQ experience. A MUST VIST if you are in the area. The pulled pork is extremely juicy and the brisket is exactly as you would have it as if you were in Texas. And let's not forget the overly attentive and courteous service. Please do NOT let the small size of this spot fool you. It constantly has patrons for a good reason.
Delicious brisket, sides of mac n cheese, cole slaw, collards, and the short end ribs were sooo darn good. Baklava cheesecake is outstanding - honeyy, creamy, nutty and caramely.
Texas style Q' with and assortment of pies and deserts to drive a sweet junkie crazy ! You could come and just get slice of pie and be full and satisfied. Like Baby Blues they also have "Dino" boys ( beef ribs) and they are sweet and tender.
Really good bbq tacos, well priced and really friendly staff. Most bbq spots in the area can be a bit pretentious, this is not! Highly recommend. (My to go meal was $15 ish)
Wonderful hole in the wall restaurant, great food, friendly service. Small and friendly, 2 tables and a dining counter so if you have a large get together you need to order to go.
Stopped in for lunch while getting my car washed next door. Ordered the spare ribs, collard greens, and mac & cheese.
I can't remember having ribs this tender, they were excellent. Sides were great as well. Check this place out, I know I'll be coming back.
It's great to take out food. They have two small tables out front, and bar seating inside.
This spot. OMG. This is hands down the absolute best barbecue spot. I love the beef ribs, spare ribs the baby back ribs….. all of the links….and the brisket is all fire. I highly recommend that u come here if are feeling like enjoying some of the most amazing barbecue u could imagine. This is definitely going to my go to spot for barbecue here in L.A. I don’t think any of the others can fade Avy’s.
$16 for TWO ribs…. To me that’s really overpriced. But, very friendly, ribs were delicious. I would go more often but it’s just too expensive
Best brisket in marina del Rey. Just they need to be more careful with the amounts they serve.

My first time here and I got the baby back pork ribs and they were just perfect! The owner is very nice and very friendly. The portions were spot on and I suggest you bring your appetite. Support small businesses including this place!
Stopped in for lunch because I was driving by. Had a beef brisket sandwich, Mac n cheese, and collard greens. Everything was really good and reasonably priced. The dude working the counter was really friendly and cool. Pretty much everything you’d want out of a little barbecue joint. Will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends.
Very sweet people working there. Had pastor and asada tacos and they were fantastic! Will be back :)
