First time here seems a bit strange but it works totally. The difference from other sandwich shops is everything is attempted to be Farm fresh. That and the farmish type atmosphere give it a charm that's take you away from the big city.
Great idea, super yum and fresh salad and sandwiches with lots of options. Order at counter then can try as many samples of their side salads as you want while you wait! NZ needs more places like this
Delicious!. The Prosciutto & Roasted Chicken sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had.
Of course, $10 could buy me 5-6 actual banh mi sandwiches, but as far as bougie sandwiches go, this was very satisfying. Just a nice, albeit “Americanized,” reinterpretation of a classic, using higher-quality ingredients.
peanut butter + bacon sandwich - i think this is their take on a pb&j because it's filled with their homemade peanut butter, apple slices, bananas (maybe their take on jelly?).....and huge chunks of bacon. this is reason #95,116,320 that proves bacon makes everything better.
When we were back in D.C., I lived and worked in Dupont Circle, arguably the most walkable neighborhood ever in the history of the world . And I loved it. It took me literally five minutes to walk to work, and I had a Safeway, a Whole Foods, a CVS, a Dunkin Donuts, a liquor store, and several dry cleaners within a 5-block radius. And then we moved to L.A., the driving capital of America. SIGH . After a year here, I've adjusted to the constant driving that is necessary to live a normal life in L.A. Even so, it's always nice when an eatery opens up in walking distance, giving us a new option for dining that doesn't require gas. We've anxiously been awaiting the opening of the WeHo branch of Los Angeles-based sandwich chain Mendocino Farms for weeks now, and Saturday afternoon was the perfect time to try it out. Mendocino Farms is named after an area upstate where the slow food movement and sustainable farming aren't just fads, but ways of life. The rustic, clean decor an
I’ve been wanting to eat at this sustainable, upscale sandwich/salad place FOREVER. All their reviews have been stellar, and the other day Abe had a BLT Melt with Tempeh Bacon that he proclaimed worthy of the BVSLA list.
Last month, I was invited by Stefani Roberts from Bread and Butter PR to a Pre-Grand Opening Party of one of their clients, Mendocino Farms , at their new location in Marina del Rey. Although their 2 downtown locations are actually closer to me, one is on
With their DTLA locations getting rave reviews, I've been curious about the Mendocino Farms sandwiches. Their newest location in Marina del Rey is slated to open on Thursday. Luckily, I was invited to their pre-opening tasting preview last night. When you
First time in Mendocino Farms. I ordered a salad with quinoa and avocado and it was excellent, no fan of the tortilla or no idea why even suggest a tortilla with a salad. I had the mistake to order a soda bad bad idea the flavors are horrible to me, maybe people likes those type of flavors, even was a bad idea the sodas still 5 stars the food, ok service.
Fast, accurate and friendly service. Ryan took really great care of my office with a same-day catering order. I had to pick it up as the driver was fully booked, and I really appreciated that Ryan let me know that up front rather than over promising on delivery and having the food show up late. I love the attention to detail Mendo uses in packing their catering and that the sandwiches are individually wrapped. The desserts are always delicious. Thank you again Ryan!
A great place to grab good food. Although I don't think I got what I had ordered. I ordered a spicy sandwich (I don't remember the name offhand) that was supposed to have Sriracha in it. There was no heat. I did not have it redone. What I had was good too.
I have been coming here for years and love the not so fried chicken sandwich! Recently the menu changed and now the bbq sauce that’s offered is a tangy mustard sauce and after trying it on my last order I am not a fan….after a long week I ordered tonight and was desperate for the old bbq sauce, the woman on the phone was so kind and laughed at my desperation for the old sauce. She said she would see what she could do, if there was anyway they could make some or include it. To my surprise when I picked up my order they had a large side of sauce in my to go bag and it did not disappoint!!! Shout out to such a kind a friendly team going out of their way to make my night :)
(My visit was pre-covid19) This restaurant is located near Marina del Rey and pretty close to the airport. I drove here to go look at the Venice Canals but somehow I ended up here lol. The parking was super intense and I had to cir le around 7 times to find a spot but other than that the retail center was very neat.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I looked at the menu and I wanted to order so many things. However, I only ordered 1 - Peruvian Steak sandwich. It was so good... Definitely one of the best sandwiches ever. Sure, the ingredients were high quality but the sauce was just superb. You have to try it to believe it.
I tried to take a photo but it's not as good as it tasted. If you are near Marina del Rey, I strongly suggest this restaurant.
High quality wraps and sandwiches full of wholesome goodness you believe at first bite.
This is a chain that I like seeing when I see it.
Sure, they have blue cows. But they also serve super tasting sodas and you can test their side orders - like their Super Healthy Salad, raw and full of nutritious veggies. I love their curry couscous salad, at times it can be heavy, but in small doses it's so comforting.
Wine and beer served here.
A few vegan options that are seasonal and always changing so you don't feel stuck to the same menu. My favorite thing has been the samosa dosa vegan wrap, it was full of Indian curried potatoes, cauliflower and peas. Please bring that back and I'll be back.
Indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking.
Excellent sandwiches, with fresh ingredients and various bread. The salads looked great to, though we didn't order any. Good CP!
